Currently watching ep 7 and I have to admit, this is one of the coolest drama I've seen.

Update: ep 11, 12 is traumatising with all the bullying 😓

10/10 coz I was laughing my a$$ out for most of the time. Especially when NJW cursed the attorneys in ep 3 at team dinner, when mom's confronted at NJW's firm and ep 20.

The twist in ep 19 definitely me off guard. I loved NJW's court case scenes. His frustrated moments as Attorney were hilarious. Personally, Attorney NJW > Prosecutor NJW. It's funny coz I started watching this as ML is mentioned as a prosecutor in description. The attorney version was cute goof ball. I liked the hairstyle of attorney role more, also the main reason why I didn't drop the drama at ep 3. I was for sure hooked for the looks of Ji Chang Wook and the comedy at his law firm.

When Eun Hyuk introduced instagram and only then the realisation of 9yrs hit me.

As the role of law firm head(?) passed on to Eun Hyuk, those golden round glasses were also given to him and No Ji Wook was giggling. Love how they showed soo many details in ep 20.

I obviously started watching it as a rom-com and felt frustrated in the end of ep8. In next episode, I do see that the leads were slow but forensic guy sent msg and episode is jumping parts at end. I was frustrated in that moment and came here to vent. I do that very often. You didn't have to take it so seriously.

Ep 8, I wished I could beat the shit out of ML and FL. Like this is not the time for your romance! This is when I truly realised why love-line shouldn't be inserted in crime/thriller/suspense kind of dramas. Like I'm well aware Suspicious Partner is rom-com but I was cursing so bad when they are kissing coz that forensic officer is dying on the other side.

And why the fvck ML kept phone in bag (+silent/vibration)?

6 episodes in and I passionately hate SFL's character

I came across this drama under recommendations of Stranger. The genre and plot of Beyond Evil is my cup of tea but somehow I couldn't feel interested in it all. I watched upto midway of ep 3 and was so bored that fell asleep twice.

Jumped straight to ep 15 (I rarely do that) but still I was bored as hell and couldn't bring myself to watch it. Should I say it's too slow? But then again, I was on ep 3 only. After 15-20 minutes of ep 15 I jumped directly to last 15-20 minutes of ep 16.

Saw him in Again My Life and he is so handsome!!

0.2 deducted coz I really want the final villain to "confess" his crimes and ML visiting No Sun Hoo in ending of ep 16.

Story is predictable at many points but watching the execution is real fun! I was hooked to see how ML unfolds the cases with obvious evidences against defendants.

It's a must watch, especially if you want to see a dedicated and upright attorney and experience the thrill of court scenes.

The female judge character is one of the best ones I have seen. Love how she felt ridiculed by prosecution for poor work performance. I had hearty laugh when she pointed out the prosecutors mistake and how roles of prosecutor and lawyer is switched.

Just when I was dãmñ excited (and screaming) to see all three culprits in defendant stand and ML questioning them in prosecutor's uniform the DRAMA ENDS 😭😭😭💔💔💔

Like I have seen Again My Life & Stranger, before this and the final boss was still out in broad daylight.

I was so very fvckin excited! Atleast, an "I Do" from them and ML visiting Noh Seon Hoo would be sufficient. I haven't craved for a confession or "I Do" in any dramas 😭

Also, I hate how the law doesn't accept illegal evidences against corruption. Like Corruption itself is illegal! It's not always possible to collect/obtain a perfect evidence from a legal source against a person from conglomerate or politics! Plus, the evidence was from an anti corruption prosecutor who was killed under disguise of accident. Why can't the evidence collected by him be accepted?

Also, I'm really happy that ML was a lawyer not a prosecutor where he has to bear with selfish orders from Chief Prosecutor & Prosecutor General (yeap, with reference to Again My Life and many other dramas that I haven't seen)

exactly! If I didn't see the end of ep 7, I would've surely dropped it for some other time. But it aged like fine wine in the second half!

I mostly skip intro and outro but 비밀의숲 (instrumental bgm) by Kim Jun Seok has solid grip on me. Like even when it is playing in scenes, I found it hard to focus on subs and plot 😭

This drama is definitely an all rounder 10/10. Like thrilling plot, acting, bgm is perfect!

Also, this season has no boring/skip scenes like season 2

This drama has one of the best OSTs! I'm addicted 😭

I have been binging thriller, action, crime and law dramas and he has so many good works!

Season 1 is a straight and bumpy ride
Season 2 is a rollercoaster ride with too many things happening.
They should make a season 3!

Also, I really loved Season 1 and immediately jumed into Season 2 (binged both) but the debate is not my cup of tea. I fell asleep twice watching this drama, first 6 episodes were tough.

EXACTLY! Like how the fvck they don't have soundproof rooms? They are prosecutors and police officers but have now awareness that someone is eavesdropping. I'm at ep 9 and only ML noticed it twice because other person was careless

Ep 7 and I'm so fvcking pissed by the recklessness of people. Especially the hospital staff and guard for the victim. That's stupidity at peak.

I keep seeing holes here and there and scream.

Like ML, FL & that undercover guy have phone have recording function, if you can't fine evidence then you have to make evidence. Also, there's no such thing as pin hole camera or tracker or bug?

I had to make a check on mdl to confirm the year for this drama coz there are so many tiny holes thrown here and there.

Edit: End of Ep 7, they finally made use of the video recording function in phone. I screamed with excitement.

Finished watching this. The end was slightly disappointing. I don't mean him becoming a political candidate and bringing Jo Tae Seop to that live discussion but the last 10 minutes. I didn't anticipate a wedding (someone in discussion said they get married in webnovel) BUT they didn't have to show all criminals coming out from prison and joining hands with a corporate. I would rather wish to see him taking the prosecutor's oath like the very beginning of ep 1 along with setting up the table with all of his close people. I needed to see him back as a prosecutor.

Also maybe him and his chief prosecutor friend reforming the entire prosecution team based on their convictions and work criteria.

In beginning, I shipped him with Kim Hui A, she's is beautiful and also a main protagonist. After the leap, I suddenly felt like Kim Gyu Ri is more suitable. They would be that hot-tempered x calm, wise and sharp couple who argue and keep each other in check, solve problems together. Ah! I wish they had more scenes together

Glasses looks good on him! I love him as a hot prosecutor. But he is looking so cute as teen in first few episodes until the leap that I really want to see him in some campus rom com. I'm sure he would nail it!
