Talk about shoving this happy ending down our throats. I’m commenting after seeing the 2 special episodes. I truly loved these characters. Seeing their growth has been heartwarming. In the novel they go back south to live, manage and expand Sorn’s rubber farm. 3-4 years after they got together. For me, there’s a plot. The young boy Sorn saw growing up tagging at his heart and mind for no reason. Sorn: Liking him when he shouldn’t, crossing the line into something he thought he could control but he couldn’t. Hurting, growing learning to trust. Admitting to love.Allowing to be loved. For Jun: Growing meant to loose Sorn. By saying, no more. Regaining your dignity. Growing through hurt. Learning to forgive, accept, thrive without loosing himself. So this was a good story for me, hoping to see them in future projects!❤️🔥❤️
Nice drama. But I feel we deserved a fleshed out ending. Would have changed several scenes from the palace mayhem and given a more cohesive build up leading to his appearance 400 years later.
Very good episode. Well adjusted from the novel. Can’t help reading some comments. No, Khem and Peem are not going at it like furries in heat. Because the certainty of the love between them is enough. The priority is to save Khem. These two hours adjusted us to the final stretch of this story. 👍
Shine Finale: Reflections and RecapI need to start with something personal. I wasn’t sure if I’d have the…
As always, very on point I love you take on things. I feel Naran spoke his part through his actions. He didn’t need anything to remind him of Krailert. Kind of like he knew K. wouldn’t be able to leave with him. He showed resignation and serenity, telling him in the note that no matter how far or long, Krailert would always have a piece of his heart, even with Dhevi in his bed. He left with that certainty. That’s how big, their love was.💔✨💔
So I was thinking about why would Trin didn’t say goodbye to Tanwa and here’s what I think and what I saw…
Thanwa’s down spiral. Never getting over his mother’s death and his heavy drug dependence. Trin at one point says that it was something he had to work himself. He was right.
MASTERPIECE OF A SERIES!!!!! U HEAR ME😭 so beautifully shot and acted. Oh btw i still don't know what that…
I read it on Tic-Toc translated to Spanish. It’s almost like a Poem. The message was that it didn’t matter the time or distance, their love would always exist. Krailert would always live in his heart. If I find it I will post, translated to English.
On episode 14, I love these flawed characters. The story keeps you entertained. Different from other lakorns is the lack of cringe, even though you get a realistic view of life and societal norms. I recommend it!
Still caching my breath. Terrible how Krailert was never reunited with Naran. Poetic that Narans survival was paid by Krailert lifetime imprisonment in a marriage with no love. Not surprised at Dhevi’s choices we have to remember she was a spoiled socialite from that era. I bet she lived in her own hell, for which I’m glad. Beautiful closing. Trin and Thanwa on the beach sipping martinis, after 50 years. This is a masterpiece! Pulling at heartstrings throughout. I can not write enough good things about it. We are assuming Krailert Naran never got together. Then again after 50 years, we don’t know, do we?❣️❣️❣️
I liked seeing Tle and First acting. A good prelude to seeing them perform in Khemjira. Being a mini drama which format I dislike, it was bearable because I was able to see it edited into 3 episodes. Not perfect but much better than going minute by minute. Just for the chemistry it’s a good watch. This seemed to be produced for the Chinese market. Curious as of why. I also liked Turbo, never heard of him. Good looking 👀 reminds me of Felix.
