Impressed by his acting. He comes across as quite natural. Certainly at the top end of his class at GMMTV. Even some of the more senior ones could learn a thing or two!

I get the impression they wanted to go with a certain storyline and then midway they had to change it. Not sure why. It's a decent enough series, with some low points and some high points. Dunk's acting is a bit hit or miss, but overall better than some of his other performances.

It's not really based on Shakespeare - it has taken some inspiration from "taming of the shrew", and the play is referenced in the series itself a few times. Kant's tattoo on his back is from a famous quote from the play - "If I be waspish, best beware my sting" - but it's not quite the same story.

No worries, but the definition of Anglophile is not someone who likes the English language, but I agree with you that he likes English - or rather he seems to like US culture. He’s actually an Americanophile (yes, that is a thing) as opposed to an Anglophile.

This is the problem with the internet. It does not provide context (or very little), and leaves everything up to personal interpretation. People do not seem to have caught on to this particular aspect of the internet or social media.

The west is not too chaotic to live in, the US is. Don’t drag the rest of us into the mess you created for yourselves. Also, an anglophile is someone who is specifically fond of England (UK), English culture and English people - not just general English speaking countries. Joss is not an Anglophile in any sense of the word.

"Hating" someone because you don't like their acting is immature, childish and pathetic. You don't know the person - all you see is a character on a screen, either portrayed poorly or well. So, how can you hate a person you don't know? Do people even know what hate is?? All this gen Z "hater" stuff needs to die a death. Social media has ruined humanity.

Right. This latest episode made no sense whatsoever. What was going on with Lily? What was the point exposing her to those women? Why does GMMTV always mess up their series in the final 2 episodes? It's like they run out of steam and decide to just wrap it up without any thought to the overall story. Everything is so rushed...

What's with these far fetched and overly elaborate deaths/accidents? A plane crash?? Really?? Could it not have been a simple boat accident? It just sounds ridiculous when you hear it.

I haven’t seen him in anything else, but in THK his acting has been a bit hit and miss. He was doing well for a few episodes but it kinda went downhill again in the last one. I think he struggles with scenes where you have to dig deep in your emotions. He needs to practice more.

Dunk's acting wasn't too shabby in the last episode. Hopefully it stays that way or improves. It's certainly making it easier to watch!

Yeah they looked sort of okay in the first few episodes but in this latest one they just looked way too fake for my liking. Hopefully it's a one off miss by the make up department and/or editing team...

Yes, I would agree the character Style does suit him. I find Dunk's acting a little hit and miss. Sometimes his delivery is fine and natural, and other times it's too exaggerated, drawn out and unnatural. So, 70% is fine but 30% is somewhat lacking in delivery I would say. It's not that the others are perfect, but their range is overall better.

All this being said, I think Dunk has been unfairly singled out as somehow the worst actor at GMMTV. I mean, just look at perfect10liners... lordy lord there's some bad acting going on over in that series! And people raving that it's amazing!? Baffling to say the least.
