Similar to Moo Jin, Sang Pil knows little of politics, but is thrown into an occupation in the field due to unforseen circumstances. Both dramas deal with protagonists in new jobs who navigate them with sincerity and grace. The found family trope is also strong in both dramas, and the characters have great sets of support systems around them!

Investigation Couple and God's Quiz are both forensic dramas centred around two leads with different backgrounds: a male forensic doctor, and a female prosecutor (IC) / police investigator (GG), respectively. The two parts clash in the beginning of the stories, but learn to listen and learn from one another, as that is more fruitful in understanding the reasons behind cases of unnatural deaths.

Unnatural is set entirely among forensic pathologists, and the characters work towards solving cases of deaths with unnatural causes. 1/2 of our Investigation Couple, Baek Beom, is a forensic pathologist and his work contributes greatly to the cases Prosecutor Eun Sol works on. His work is shown in detail, similar to Unnatural.
