Oh? So does that mean a lot of shows don’t have actors using their real voice? I didn’t know that. Any reason…
For many Western actors it is a point of pride to master not only correct standard speech but also a number of regional accents.
China isn't the only country with strong regional accents. Think of the many Scottish actors who are able to speak flawless English or Hugh Laurie who even made the casting team believe he was actually American when auditioning for his role as Dr House.
I don't believe that Chinese actors (the real ones at least) are any less talented than their Western colleagues, so they should be able to do this.
Oh dear, yet another drama butchered beyond recognition by cutting so many scenes.
I find this highly disrespectful towards the hard work everyone has put into producing this and also towards the audience who will be served an end-product that will very likely have a good number of plot-holes, incoherent jumps from one scene to another and a dreadfully rushed ending.
I think everyone involved deserves better than this!
I have to agree- Heroes was mid summer, Love Between Fairy and Devil was late summer, and Side Story of Fox Volant…
True. There's a lot of good stuff just sitting on the shelf, not coming out... Some dramas have been finalised for over two years now but for one reason or another are being held back. This is neither fair to the actors/production teams who have put in a lot of work, nor to the fans who have been waiting for a long time.
Ah poster looks good unfortunately I don't like the actor playing the ml
I understand what you mean... Tastes are different for everyone and if for some reason you don't like one of the leads it's better not to watch it. It's the reason why I didn't watch Immortal Samsara, despite the story probably being good, I didn't like the leads.
Why the heck I’m struggling to watch this drama !!! I like the cast and the plot though.I’m really having…
I have a similar problem with The Wind Blows from Longxi. It's the darkness of most scenes that makes it difficult to watch, plus the subtitles flash past so fast sometimes that I had to stop several times and rewind just to be able to understand what was said.
What the hell are these paparazzi doing? https://twitter.com/LuoYunxiFanClub/status/1597206499469971456?s=20&t=KgRXTYR-95bQzGj1D-4dYQ😡😡😡😡😡😡
It's sad that some people just can't respect the private life of actors the same way as they would for any other professional. They don't run around asking their banker or their hairdresser what they had for breakfast, either.
It's not so much about taking revenge but more about getting the pieces of his body back (his true form is a dragon...)…
The author definitely has a thing for the mutilation of the male body... both in The Blue Whisper and (to an even worse extend) in Heart Protection. I doubt though that the details will make it into the drama version.

The romance is building up gradually. In the beginning both characters are just using each other. There is no love triangle, stupid misunderstandings or other annoying C-drama tropes (I HATE those!) so I hope they will not invent any in the drama version. There is one character in the book where I had a feeling that he might be interested in the FL, but there is never any doubt about her feelings. The book has a happy ending after a lot of drama (quite a few people are dying in the various battles).

Yes, I read the book (which is called Heart Protection) in the English translation. It's by the same author who wrote The Blue Whisper and between the two I prefer this one.
90 percent of the melons say we will get it late Dec this year !https://twitter.com/melon_gocrazy/status/1595372187963502592?t=x1p2Yv_fTlEawIbZH3G1VQ&s=19
Maybe December will get an extension this year for all the dramas to air that we were promised for 2022...
Who knows, Immortality might air on 42th December 2022.
Shouldn't this have revenge tag? From the description it sounds like the ML seeks revenge.
It's not so much about taking revenge but more about getting the pieces of his body back (his true form is a dragon...) In the book he feels more pain and disappointment than anger against the person who mistreated him.
