I think they are making these announcements deliberately confusing. I got “tricked” before on another drama, that’s why I now always double check. I saw some rumours saying that it could be released on 26th February which sounds plausible (Mango often announce dramas 1 week before the release date).
Finally, the long-awaited news has arrived!!!! 🥳 📢📢📢 Planting Red Beans at the Tip of Your Brows /…
Are you sure that this is the release date of the drama? The way I understood it is that they will release new material (OST, etc) on 21st, but not the drama itself.
I love Dylan and Ziyi, but from a novel-reader’s perspective, I’m heavily disappointed with the casting. This…
Yes, it’s yet another sad case of a novel being sacrificed to the traffic. I absolutely hate it when they re-write female-centric novels to suit the male ego of some traffic actor. All the pretense about respecting women but in fact, no respect at all! This isn’t meant as an attack on Wang Heidi, but a criticism of a wider trend in the industry. There are just too many novels that have been mangled just to suit the casting desired by the capital,
I actually can't come to terms that I will probably only see this drama in the big '27or even '28or even neverWHY…
Haha, welcome to the club. After a while you will get used to the mix of anxiety and excitement that comes with every new drama. As long as the end result is good, it is worth the wait.
There will always be other dramas airing at the same time. Each of them will find its own audience. There is no…
That just shows their ignorance as to how these ratings are made. In most cases it’s the people who are willing to pay who end up with a “highly rated” drama. There are thousands of bots rating dramas on Douban and it is well known that the platform will delete negative ratings if the production team pays the “protection fee”. Weibo recently closed hundreds of bot accounts and all the streaming platforms have their own system of watering the viewing figures because that’s how they sell advertising. The only thing that actually will make a drama endure through time is quality. Sadly, based on the look & sound of the New Year’s clip, I’m now afraid we won’t be getting much of it.
Why is there no news about it untill now? Does somebody know when it gonna air?
I’m sure that somebody knows (like the people at iQiyi) but they aren’t telling us 😂 The rumours keep adjusting the months from mid- February to now mid-March (and I can already see mid-April on the horizon).
Who is the penultimate person? The clip says “Xu Youre as Lu Jinxiu” but there is no such actress on MDL (or…
If you pause the clip, every actor’s name and role is displayed in the vertical characters to the left of the person. The translation said “Xu Youre as Lu Jinxiu” the characters used for the real name may be wrong as I searched for the actress with these characters and couldn’t find her. @kokuto in the comment above suggested another name which looks plausible. I recognised the first character as “Xu”. They probably said it’s Madam Gantang because that’s who they expected to appear. You cannot trust anything on X. 😂
So happy to finally see almost all the cast in their full getup though i think they should have included Jeremy…
I’m sure he will be there for the next occasion. Sometimes it’s better to miss out than to do things in a rush. He was in the CNY clip for Blossoms of Power and frankly, I would have preferred him to be missing. The sound and lighting feel like they’ve recorded it in someone’s basement. A very shoddy job!

Not pissed, but crying 😭 why is my poor boy always left out? Is it because the villains weren’t invited? Joking aside, I think the most likely explanation is time constraints. He filmed until late into the night on his first days on set and after that probably rushed straight back home to be with his family.

There seem to be quite a few dramas that are “inexplicably delayed”.
