Yes, I know what you mean. I alway try to be measured and balanced uploading photos and everything that I uploaded here came from official sources (artist studio), so there was absolutely NO reason to delete them!
They’re just trying to free server space and the artists/dramas that aren’t on their favourites list get the chop.

Probably. Chinese censors are very strict when it comes to protecting historical accuracy, so there cannot be any fictional storylines for historical characters.

Yes, they had to change Wanyan Jun’s name because the novel character is based on a historical figure named Wanyan, but as it is a fictional drama they cannot use names of historical figures.

The “just another period drama” is currently one of the most anticipated dramas within the industry. And this is before filming has even started.

Jeremy was at the opening ceremony for Dancing with the Tides today (25/01/2026). His new role will be Xiahou Jun, the main antagonist in the drama.
This will be his first regular role (not a guest or special appearance) since his comeback in September 2024.

But they seem to plan for a lot of action scenes. Wirework takes a lot of time to film and to edit.

I hope these people can bite their nails quietly in some dark corner without spoiling things for everyone.
