His memories with his father were mostly happy, he didn't have to experience his bad side like Isin. And since he had fainted from the shock, it's possible that he forgot about it, especially since he was young. Many people tend to bury traumatic memories after a traumatic incident, so it kinda makes sense that he cannot recall his dad beating him.
Also, it's clear that he's still in denial. I don't know if the next epiodes will make him realise that his dad had abusive tendecies but it's a possibility that he was aware of them but couldn't bare to admit it.
Alright, I know that it was supposed to be a comedic moment but the scene where Eun Jung's classmates demanded an explanation from Jun Ho regarding the sitting partners incident was very refreshing to see. I half-expected them to be jealous towards her (especially the girl who had a crush on him) but nope, even for such a childish issue, they wanted to defend their classmate. Even though it's a small moment and it's only Episode 1, I really like how the series builds the theme of human dynamics, friendship and community.
I loved Choi Sung Eun in Beyond Evil so I will most likely watch this one too. I will try to watch The Sound of Magic too, in the meantime, I can't believe how underrated she is. I know she acts mostly in films rather dramas but she is a very underrated actress.
