I do not mean to come across as rude, I get that many of the og fans are excited and curious to see what will happen but not everyone is familiar with the original version and want to keep it that way.
I don’t think the issue lies with the actors’ performances. The problem is with how the director manages the…
Which is why I do not blame the actors but the writers and director. I totally agree with you, the actors are doing their best but the script does not give them any opportunities to shine.
I became interested after seeing that Jin Seon Kyu will play a supporting role but the plot genuinely excites me. I have become more interested in dramas that refer to actual historical periods and monumental events in Korea, so this seems perfect for me.
Ep 6 was better than the one's before, but the problem is all of what happened in this episode should have happened…
The problem is not only the story. It's basically everything. Even if what happened on episode 6 had happened earlier, not a lot would have changed as long as the production, the pacing, the fighting, the dialogues and the characterisation remained the same.
Very good review and I totally agree! I, however, have something to say regarding Mirr and Marok's relationship: I do not believe that the writers intended to make them seem like lovers. I think that Marok acts more like a protective father figure towards her. However, this is only my opinion, your own observation is very intriguing and I can see where you come from.
Great cast and the story outline seems good but shame about everything else. What happened in Ep 6 should have…
I couldn't agree more. You said everything that needed to be said. I cannot stand anymore these gimmick with showing us every single angel's reaction and the pacing is painfully slow without contributing to the nonexistent tension. Such a waste of a good story and casting.
I am very happy that I wasn't a fan of any of the actors prior watching the show because at least I didn't have high expectations regarding their characters and screen time. I feel for Park Hyung Sik's fans who expected him to be a powerful and mystic villain only for him to have less screen time than the grandma. The writers tried to promote Twelve by having Park Hyung Sik as the centre of the marketing and yet he was so underutilized. Such a pity considering he at least did a decent job with the shitty script he was given.
I'm currently watching The Untamed and you know what? I know many people criticize the graphics and while I acknowledge that they are...bizarre to say the least, at least they managed to make the fights seem more exciting. What the fuck was going on between Ogwi and the priest in their confrontation?

Yeah, it's clear that we are probably talking about the biggest flop this year alongside When The Stars Gossip
