Please God give my man a main lead that actually suits him so well and not one of those boring, rom-com that would never do him justice. He deserves a UNIQUE project that will elevate him to the next level. Amen.

I'm going to let this marinate but Haein and Somin seems like a perfect pair for casting. Their faces kinda of complement each other in a way. It's sounds a bit weird saying it like this but there is something in their face that suits each other so I'm looking forward to watching this.

The male lead fans sometimes get upset when you say that so I had to emphasis it's my point because someone didn't let me go for thinking they had good chemistry. On a good note, there a lot of people who seem to think this way as well. It's like pretty divided here because people loved the male lead joining in the revenge and being her sword (I see the appeal, I also dig it! Unfortunately, I don't think actor Dohyun was a good fit for this role so it missed for me.)

Omg... The tension. The princess must be a psychopath because how is she able to get away with behaving like that PUBLICLY? I'm flabbergasted but she making the plot so good so I can't fault her for her crazy ideas 🤣 and the ex husband... The actor is really selling the role. He somehow mastered looking sorrowful and defeated, like he is constantly mourning. Like it's actually insane how good he is. The tears, the guilt like aren't you the one who killed your wife? How are you getting away geninuely acting like this???

Really? Either she is a psychopath or that must not have been her husband's child because I can't imagine intentionally killing your baby to get rid of the biological daughter of your husband.

I just finished and LMAO I can't wait till one of the Li brothers becomes a monk because I trust my girl will strike a tiger. She really adapting Duke Su's confidence of pushing forward and never looking back.

I noticed you watched Story of Kunning Palace and rated it highly. The male lead played such a big role in that drama so maybe it's not his acting that's an issue but his character for you?

I had to pause on this episode because the beef these people have with 7-10 year old Jiang Li is genuinely an insanity. The whole she killed her brother... Stepmother tripped on her own feet, how is that her fault? And I bet she was never with a child in the first place. And now in this episode , we have a problem about how she didn't want to go with the Ye family... No way this is an actual issue. It makes more sense she wants to stay home then be shipped to another family as a CHILD. All these people hold the strangest grudge I've seen. Free young Jiang Li.

Lmao that age of ceremony. I like how Duke Su is such an intimidating officer that just stepping in had people anxious because they know he doesn't play by anyone's rules except his. He can turn a party into an investigation case but he really was there for the drama. My guy just wanted to watch real-time family tea.

I like the actor in this drama so I'm going to be seated for it regardless.

I watched 2 episodes so far and I like it a lot. I just like how the FL is straight up manipulating, using and threatening the ML and he is amused by it. It's refreshing. I hope the show continues to be good till the end.

I'm loving the poster of this show, giving a little bit of barbie, dollhouse vibes and I like it. Can't wait to watch this show but is it just me or this year feels like there is barely any good dramas? Am I crazy to think that? I feel like there was just like 3-4 stand out dramas this year and we are already at the halfway mark. Is it a weak year or is all the good dramas going to air on the second half of the year?

Actually a very well put together review. I enjoyed reading it even though I personally disagreed with two points but I also thought it brought some really good insights to me who didn't read that much into it. I didn't think of it like that. It gave a different perspective.

Also to the people here: Harassing this user for giving this show a 7 (now 6 from y'all constant ill behaviour) isn't going to make her like it more. In fact, this behaviour only pushes people to dislike the show more. If y'all reacting like this over an above average rating, y'all might cry when you see I rated many shows 5 and below. Sometimes it's okay to not need everyone validation to like the same show as you.

Speaking about this because they appearing on my tiktok. I may not like this show but let me tell you, it's been a while since I've thought two character had good chemistry together. (Keyword here is "I" ). I don't watch rom-coms because I like the "chemistry" but rather for the plot structure. In here, female lead and the bully's husband had such a sizzling chemistry. I honestly was taken a back when I liked seeing her with him. It's subtle, not in a pushy way. Even the way he took time to consider her point of view, and didn't betray his wife right away but then realizing she was right was chef kiss. I like it even more when he chose NOT to pursue her and take his daughter and leave. Gave him extra hot points.

Hye Ko was also phenomenal here considering I didn't like her in Descended of the Sun at ALL. This role just suits her and it was the perfect maturity for her.

I'm gonna get there. I watch this show with my sister because she also likes it. I haven't gotten to reading the comments section properly lmao I just skimmed but I heard it gets really messy once you scroll down. I hope the fights weren't that toxic but my friend told me even death threats were thrown around so I'm not looking forward to it 😅

I haven't gotten a chance to finish the last 2 episodes since real life came first and I'm among the lovers of this show but my friend messaged me telling me she is getting harassed because she said she don't like this show? I'm flabbergasted. The are people here so insecure of their love for this show, they are harassing REAL people over it? An absolute insanity.

Some of you guys can't handle criticism or dislike/hate for this show because you are so insecure? Is the negative reviews affecting the profit this show made? Is the negative reviews hurting some poor fictional characters feelings? Did the negative reviews affect the rating and overwhelming success and love it got? No? Okay then GROW UP. Let people write whatever they want. There is many negatives reviews because MANY people watched it. Just like majority of people liked and expressed their adoration for it, there is going to be people who didn't like it. That's just natural. Stop policing people and let them write their comment without getting a lecture because you can't handle an opinion that's different from yours.

So? Did you look at the 10/10 reviews? Most of them say the same thing over and over again, adding nothing of value to their post. Maybe you should ask yourself why when the reviews spam only meaningless love doesn't get a reaction like that from you then when someone who does the same with dislike.

1/10 from me. My sister loved this movie but I absolutely hated it. An atrociousity. Would never recommend it to anyone to watch. It felt like it was made for purely cinematic reasons, not for an actual plot. They threw in some random historical context to it and if people need to have pre-knowledge to appreciate the movie, that makes it even a worse movie for me. I went ahead and read the explanation to give it a chance as maybe the subtitles I watched wasn't accurately ttranslated and I still concluded I didn't like it either way. I guess horror sub genre of exorcism is not for me. It's always predictable with the same four formula , "someone call for a case, they come to exorcise it, the spirit is too strong to actually do it but finally succeed." And it's always the same pattern in all of these movies.

Anyway, I don't think I'm the target audience for this. I'll chalk it up and say it's meant for a demographic more knowledgeable about history and actually enjoy this genre more and I'm just the wrong target. But this is my personal rating and opinion.
