I'm only 30 minutes in the first episode but why does Byeon Wooseok looks like he is literally glowing??? Fans were complaining he looked like a handsome villain in Strong Nam Soon but it's nothing in comparison to here? He looks like an angel in white. LMAO this is the first time I'm complimenting an actor like some sort of rabid fangirl.
I'm going to be watching Lovely Runner too but whoever is here for Byeon Wooseok, watch the show and if you got bored, please starting skipping. It's heavily encouraged to skip (I mean, look at the rating). I promise, you won't be missing out much. Ryusio was the only entertaining character in the entire show even though he is the villain here. He is a red flag but a red flag that's keep this show alive
Record are meant to be broken so fair enough. However, the script of this show went super weak and sloppily in the last 6 episodes. I guess the strong beginning did this show so much favours.
Liked your review. It was helpful. I don't care what other dramas you watched but I see so many people mention you are biased... LMAO as if all of the reviews aren't biased here especially by those who give it a 10 despite the fact there are many factually bad writing moments. But they are entitled to their opinion and review so that's their right. However, I don't get why they are trying to shame others. This is so MDL users coded though so I'm not surprised they are attacking you. These people genuinely believe hating on a real human over a fictional story that don't exist is important....
What an exhausting watch. They pushed as much as they can to fill that remaining time frame to drag this. Should have made the episodes shorter if they going to go down this route. I'm so tired of kdrama making corporate "antagonist" murders and killers. It's not entertaining anymore. It's just bad writing at the moment because the writers creative is copying other writers same exact plotlines. This show started so promising and fell really badly near the end. I pray we get good shows soon because this drought of bad show is making me bored.
I did have a classmate whose mind functioning I couldn't understand. We became friends somehow, and she came to…
If that's the case, I'm glad you cut off ties because if she anything similar to Soomin, even without the exaggeration, you dealing with an insane person. I also resonated with the female lead in the aspect she is a people pleaser who let people walk all over her, only difference I'm aware but she wasn't.

Sounds to me like your mom is an empath but I'm glad you stood your ground for what you believe. Having people opinion overrides yours really make life difficult to live with especially when you can't see it the same way at all. And I agree with what you said, we don't have to excuse wrong behaviour.
I wish there was a dislike button for this comment...ahahahah. Seriously... ❤️
I enjoyed her because she is spiteful. She hated her circumstances so much, she feels entitled to be a victim and make the girl with a loving dad life a living hell because she can't be the only one dragged down even though, they both suffered similar circumstances. That's why she is appealing for me. Because she is just spiteful witch who can't accept the fact she is not the only one suffering.
I love a good villain as well. You know they are a good villain when you hate them so much and are so invested…
She was annoying me so much but then at around ep 10, I'm like... oh, the actress is so good and convincing. Actually, her character really making this story so good to watch because you can't help but want to pull her hair out. Vincenzo's revenge on them made that show so worth watching. It feels good to have a satisfying ending for villains like that especially when there is more than one of them.

Your mom gave a very good advice that I do think it applicable however, when you deal with people you don't understand and it affecting your life, you need to be extra careful and aware of what they are doing. If you can't handle them, it's better to cut off ties because it could be a difference in upbringing but she could also be a thief. It depends if it happens again after you set a boundary. I'm sure you dealt with the situation the best way you can.
I didn't finish the show yet but I'm going to make a wild statement... my favorite character is Soomin. Yea, I know, crazy! But she stole the spotlight for me. Love her! She is such a complex character that I genuinely have a hard time understanding how her brain operates. She is, logically, not making any sense which make her an appealing and entertaining character to look at and deduce. Like how does she think she is right to do any of that???? How? In a way, she is AWARE she is wrong with the way she manipulate her surrounding but she is purposely acting wilfully ignorant and vicitmising herself constantly. My favorite villain of the year.
if they kill sajo yoong the storyline has no more fillers to last till ep 16. Such pathetic writing. Oh well I…
They could have utilized the queen and her dad as the second half villains. I didn't like how they made the FL seem so vengeful as a child but none of that is there in the current FL. Like child her was threatening to kill but it's pointless since she was never that person. She always seems to know the right things to say.
Based on my analysis, Sajo Hyun probably created Ak Hee out of the extreme measures of his trauma and desires to protect the little girl his father wanted to kill which is why Ak Hee is physically stronger and more daring. Because child him probably wished he was more assertive. That's also why they hate each other at first. Sajo Hyun hated his weakness or himself so Ak Hee hate Sajo Hyun. He feels like he isn't the fake, he is the preferred one. That's also why Ak Hee immediately recognised and loved Yeon Wol because she is the reason he exist in the first place.
Of course, I do think there is some supernatural aspect to it and it's definitely NOT an accurate case of medical condition. It's fictional story so I'm just seeing it through that lens as well.
The writing direction of 10 and 11 have been a mess. Like they have so much evidence against Sajo Yoong yet he is not dead? Usually even a rumor of not being the son of the king could end someone's life so what's holding them back from revealing that? Plus they had some suspicious he killed the king so how does he still have supporters??? This is becoming dumb.
I'm sure anything is a step up from this lol
