For the new viewers, Kim Ji Eun isn't the main role, she plays a crucial supportive role. Don't go in expecting to her everywhere. There might be a reason why she is put as a main role but for now, those who love the actress, don't expect much.

That's what I've also realized as well. It's turning bigger and bigger as the male lead calculate his move. The main villain haven't even seen him as a threat yet so there still a lot to cover. So yea, I'm guessing they want to get there already otherwise, fleshing out his past instead of showing us in a few flashback with dialogue would have been the go too for most dramas
I'm on episode 4 and this drama feels very contrived? like even the background music is just corny. I'm really…
Having watched 6 episodes, I prefer this over Flower of Evil. I guess I can see why you think this drama have no depth when you came from a drama with so much crying, emotions and lots of melodrama. Basically too much angst which this doesn't have. It's easy, into the point, lots of lighthearted interactions, and it's not heavy that you need a tissue every episode. It's enjoyable and gives you what you expect. Yes, it's contrived but if you are a hot shot prosecutor, living your life again should be WAY easier than the first time. He won't struggle the way he did the first time when he is not ignorant anymore about issues surrounding him. I'm sure you would have appreciated more if they fleshed out his past so you can see his mistakes before he went back. But you definitely came in with the wrong expectations.

As someone who hit rock bottom this April, where the mental break down couldn't stop for 20 days, I would say it wasn't a bad watch. They covered a wide range of causes that makes people suicidal so you might see your own reflection. If you are going to go for it, just know they resolve it prettily with a bow as it's a drama and they want to leave a good conclusion. Realistic speaking, there is no way a heart can be cured that easily. However, it was validating in a way. Some of the things that were said, I feel like it was necessary for people who are in my shoes to hear even though I know it doesn't change anything... so if you don't mind the good endings for all cases then it won't hurt. I'll post another comment to give you a guide in case a certain subject will trigger you,
I'm cracking up at the two guys jokingly asking Hee Woo to marry them. Imagine being so charismatic that people want to be WITH you if they can't be you? Loving the bromance and I'm surprisingly enjoying the harem as well. I like all the girls. Although I'm leaning more towards Han Mi or Gyu Ri.
I like the original cast and while I'm not sure how I would feel seeing different actors, I'll still watch to see how the vibe will turn. Who knows? I might still find it enjoyable. Lee Joon Gi is a great actor so I'm curious to see how this will turn out.
Episode 2 was heartwrenching. I can't believe the ex employees came after their boss's child to harrass him about their money situation. If they don't have a solution for their own problems, how would a fresh out of highschool student, who was forced to drop out of university and abandon his dreams to MAKE MONEY find a solution for you? I can't stand grown adults like that. They are not broke. They just needed to save up money for another year to send his kids to school. Greedy people. I'm not happy with what they did.

I think Moon Lovers probably just need like 3-4 episodes spin off story for the loyal fans who really wanted an second season. It will not drag the modern era much if it was short and not 16 episodes long.
Everyone is asking for 2nd season but that's actually not possible bcoz they have nothing to save for 2nd season.…
I always find it strange when people demand a 2nd season for a series that is perfect the way it is. I bet you if this had a second season, people would be like, "It's not as good as the 1st season." Yes.. because everything is resolved so the writer is coming up with some ridiculous drama to make it 'interesting' which ends up not being interesting for the viewers. A good example of a series that did that is Young Lady and Gentleman. It didn't need 52 episodes. If they just ended the show at 20 episodes, it would have been a solid 9 for a lot of people.
