I think it's quite funny how people think this show is "not deserving" of its high rating, and I'm pretty sure…
Well said especially about tropes. There is beauty in cliches IF the writer knew how to use them. I'm sure everyone here had seen many rich man/poor woman in many different dramas but some dramas stand out more than others because they do it well.
It's fun to watch but doesn't worth that high rating
Most of the 9.0 rating dramas aren't worth it for a lot of people. I think people should not pay much attention to it as it will never be an accurate rating for individuals like you and me. I know for sure I didn't watch Goblin and thought it was a 8.8 when I couldn't even finish it.
I just paused the 1st episode to say this but my jaw dropped when the bear fell from the building and male lead went, "My condolences." ... Oh my god, I didn't expect this dark humor.
I am so bipolar with this show. In one hand, I enjoy it. In another I skip most of the episode as it’s unnecessary…
I did say yesterday Ha Ri speaks two languages, Korean and Lying. In some scenes, she is just unnecessarily lying but at least the show resolve them in the next episode.
I'm finally up to date (ep 9) and it's annoying me how Sunghoon keeps getting cut off. It's like the scriptwriter doesn't want him to talk. I understand why Young Seo is angry at him but I wish she gave him a chance to actually explain. I know he didn't handle the drunk scene that well but I also don't think it was as bad as it seemed if she let him tell her that he thinks she might have gotten a wrong impression and that he only let her in because she was starting to throw up.
Shin Hari speaks two languages, Korean and lying lmao she could have just told her parents that was her boss but I guess the author want to create another plotline.
The best line in romcom that will go down in history!! We're all crazy for his lines.
Ikr? I usually don't enjoy a lot of romcom because they get boring in the halfway point but this one is a great one. I wasn't a fan of Ahn Hyo Seop but his acting here stands out. Loving his role. He did it justice
"Do you know what my love for you and this credit card have in common?" Me: No, noo, nooo "They both have no limit."
When I tell you I actual screamed in real life and paused the video... it was cringey, cheesy, funny in the best way possible. I needed a moment to recover from this scene lmao
cloy is bad haha lol its the best in romance genre
I dropped that drama. It wasn't that great for me either so I was glad to see it in someone's worst list (even though I'm sure there are way worse drama lol)
I don't really mind the amnesia subplot in dramas however, this really ruined Young Lady and Gentleman for me. This drama would have been a solid 9 or 8 out of 10 but then the writer went bad writing on us by doing a cliché. I was wondering how this drama could have 50 episodes but now I know how they dragged it this long.
