I'd say the storytelling definitely sucks and has very terrible transitioning plots for the chemistry of the characters but I'd still watch it towards the end because it's simple to understand and follow. I very much despise how they used the girl's hatred for a few episodes and then suddenly she softens her heart.

He tortured her mentally and physically, humiliated her in front of the brother that she grew up with simply due to jealousy and killed her. I'd go marry someone else after torturing him. Other dramas with similar plot do it better because the man actually doesn't get a happy ending and she HATES the man because it's literally traumatizing to be controlled and played with. Not to mention fear of them. Welp. End of my ted talk. Male lead looks good and Lan Dou is always cute~
I understand the overall criticism of this drama. It was good up until ep 10. Then it was just a drag for the next 6 episodes with the same repetitive plot. I do enjoy it and it is pretty nice to binge-watch
I haven’t read the novel so this is purely just opinions regarding the drama. Im so glad they didn’t drag the secret gender identity until the 20th episode. So refreshing
Their love was supportive and reliable. It fely very comfortable and gentle. I believe many love the resilient and passionate love but the main leads provided a love that was built step-by-step
Episode 4 and the mother is getting on my nerves. She doesn’t deserve to be a mom and I hope she doesn’t get whitewashed after all the crap she put the female lead through. Tell me she died or something plz
I understand some people's rating on this movie. It's not the best morally but love came in all forms. When they met at the same age but the difference was the timeline. He is looking into the future and she is looking into the present.
