What second lead syndrome? He is a piece of shit, who had his answer from FL but still he decided to join hands with people. Who got FL nearly RAPED (Tyler) and forced his father to commit suicide, just cuz he wants to break up their relationship, lie to her and then had her under false pretence (aka Sexual assault). Her sister is equally trash personality, who has obsession with "incest" (ML has his father's last name) and she wants to force him against his will. So that he can be with her.......I finally understand, why his father committed suicide. FL also failed him, I hope trio don't force ML to follow his father footsteps and commit suicide !
I get it but I don't think ML is having it easy either, with "Satanic" emperor on the throne. The 180 degree shit in their attitude makes zero sense, not to mention here. ML was legally adopted from centre by SFL father and uses his last name, which makes him SFL stepbrother by definition and law.....CCP won't allow incest, following the same logic SML is also ML stepbrother and he decided to do make false accusations against him to stole a girl (which told him straight up NO).
before trashing Yi family, SFL really need to look at her own behaviour and tell me, how she is better than them.

That's what you call a strong FL cuz you don't have to be martial arts expert or have "resting Bitch" personality to be called strong and independent woman, I started this drama cuz of Zhao Jing Yi (my queen) and she captured the essence of the character and delivered a strong performance.
The plot is strong apart from the most useless/forced "Love Triangle" I have seen in a long time, ML brought her to the tree and she had vision by herself but still went-on to allow SML to charge in ML house and interfere....even after promising ML otherwise. Even then his argument don't make any sense, if she is already someone's wife then his engagement doesn't hold at all. I don't know about ancient Chinese laws but from where I am from engagement of married woman is a serious crime and if done due to error, doesn't hold at all. I hope the drama focuses on investigation and revival of the locked realm and I don't have to use skip button as much.
