This drama is simply infuriating and we have one before it to, which had characters named MoXi and CWD. I am just watching it for the sake of finishing it and fast forwarding through the episodes.

FINALLY I find one good thing about ZXW, he is being a good Lord and making sure everybody pay for their crimes against their family FL family, HRZ and Meng's. She accuses him of bias when she is asking him to let the murderer go and cutting deals to make sure her family gets away with the crimes.
as far he having his nose in everything, he is a Lord of sate and there are big assassination events going on in his mansion, anybody at his place would be pissed and meddling.
