So the main FL & the second ML are a couple in 2050 who worked together for Alice, a time travel business which has running on 2050, they're given a task to retrieve a book of prophecy (which people said might jeopardize Alice) from the year 1992, so they travel back to the past.
At 1992, the main FL found out that she's pregnant, so she decided to stay on the year 1992 & left the second ML (who's travel back to the future) because the radiation from the time travelling will harm the fetus. Her son is the main ML (who is later diagnosed having an anaphylaxis, trouble to symphatize with people/feelings as an effect of the radiation from the previous timetravel his mom made from the year 2050 to 1992 unknowing that she is pregnant).
At 2010, the main FL (main ML's mom who change her identity as Park Sun Young to be able to live in the past) mysteriously got murdered, which make the main ML determined to be a police officer.
At 2020, the main ML discover a woman named Yoon Tae Yi, a young physic professor who had the exact same face & behaviour as his mother, they worked together to unravel those mysteries.
What if this drama is based on the well known question"What came first egg or hen ?"Jin gyum being his own father…

Yes, the main FL played double roles but I believe in both roles she is the main ML's mom, just from a different timeline. There might be some possible romance but higher chance it will be between the main ML with the second FL and/ or main FL with the second ML (he is the main ML's father)

Time travelers began to seek Tae yi's life. She is an important person who holds the key to time travel, though she doesn't know it yet.

Rather, she believed that Jin Gyeom also liked her & she waited for the day when Jin-gyeom would realize his feelings, but unexpected rival appears. She looks like Jin-gyeom's mother and is pretty and attractive, so she can no longer be cool. She have to step up to make Jin-gyeom her man somehow.

That plus the fact his strong feelings is for his mom & not for some unknown girl who shared the same face as her, so less likely there'll be any romance between them *or at least that's what I hope. I can't portray myself having a partner with the same face as my parent's thus my take is like that, I respect your opinion though.
As for Do Yeon, I find she's cute & her personality compatible with/ compliments Jin Gyeom's personality/limidity. It's a bit unfair to judge her character based on the actress previous role in a totally unrelated drama/ project :)))

I like their concept actually, although things can get quite confusing as very well prone to plot holes. So Jin gyeom's mother morelikely is the child whose father was killed and later she become a professor & traveling back to the past, right? I wonder if Jin Gyeom later meddling his mother's life, will there be any consequence/ butterfly effect from it.
