This is "A Business Proposal" gone wrong. They took a perfectly good premise that's actually well suited for vertical dramas and tried to get cute with it. Injecting silly comedy, making ML awkward and unattractive and dumping the contract relationship that made A Business Proposal work. It's very disappointing.

i think Ben Wang always seems to start dramas slow, at the start always acts cold and indifferent, so if the FL doesn't carry the show in the 1st half you might lose interest.
In a vertical drama you need to build chemistry early because the episodes a 2 mins long and 120 episodes max give or take. His style probably plays better in long form.
