Not a bad watch, it focuses more on the lead’s relationship, which is a good thing.

The unnecessary hidden identity trope was a minus for me, even though it was paid off at the end, they shouldn’t have tried to use it as negative tension during the show.

All in all an okay watch.

You should see her in Sell Your Haunted House, she is a real smoke show.
My theory the fountain of youth is in a secret location in China, Korea or Japan, or it could just be the camera filters.

To watch it you will have to do some searching, I watched it on HITV, but I forget the name it was listed under. Every platform seems to list these dramas under different names.

Some tactics I use are, do an image search on Edge Browser, Translate to Chinese and then search with Native language.
Edge auto translates easier than chrome or safari.

Just read it, I’m not surprised, I against censorship, but the evil characters start becoming irritating and tedious after you’ve watched over 50 of these dramas. Also it does start to live a negative impression subconsciously i.e. the KDrama “Ajumas”.

Also don’t get me started on the snake like swaying by the female antagonists, and the weird 2 hand wrist grab, and there dialogue is recycled through dramas.

I know its done for effect but I don’t advocate for getting rid of it, just dial it back a tad bit and add variety off mannerisms and dialogue.

FL: Li Tianyuan. not yet listed

I guess I'm one of the few that find deliberate lack off communication a boring plot device in a "Romance Drama", If a man is to cowardly to court the woman its all on him and it's boring to watch.

The 1st half was really tedious to watch, the cowardly ML kept waiting for the young inexperienced lady to make the first move.
Both men and women are afraid of rejection. The irritating ML didn’t declare their relationship publicly but got angry when other men made moves on FL.

I watch short web dramas for romance, this kind of story is better suited for regular full length drama.

Zero rewatch for me.

Peng Yao with her beautiful eyes is almost always a must watch for me.

I’m a sucker for a good Flash Marriage & spiking drink with “Chinese Medicine” grandmas.

This wasn’t as good as Yu Long/Wang Miemie version with their incredible chemistry.

Great job Jwells, I know a great deal of work goes into compiling these lists, kudos and much appreciated.

FL: Shi Tong aka Shi Pingting

This is a version of “ML secretly loved FL since high school and they flash wed story”, Wang Gege , Ma Le Jie & Zhang Shan’s respective versions where better because the MLs all had a warmer approach then Ben Wang.

My issue with Ben Wang aka Wang Haozhen is that at the beginning of each drama he always has a cold depressing demeanor, not fun to watch.
If Shi Tong wasn’t so cute and beautiful, and the production was top notch I would have dropped this like hot smelly sack of potatoes.

The other side characters were good also.

This title is hard to find, It’s not on chinesemov either. Have you checked im0db? There don’t have an English search box you have to go page by page.

I endured this because of course “Mi Qi”, if there’s a more perfectly cute and beautiful actress I would love to see her, only “Zhang Shan”, “Jade Jia” , “Chen Yayu, “Li Yaya” & “Tian Miaomiao” come close, Mi Qi” is the queen albeit by slim margin.

I have only watched only 1 good version of this miracle doctor from the countryside dramas, besides that one the Yu Long/Yang Mie Mie was passable because of the couple’s chemistry.

This version had on romance was boring and I couldn’t figure out if the FL was supposed to have a split personality, if not why couldn’t she figure everything out considering she is supposedly highly intelligent. Oh well no rewatch in the horizon.

FL not listed is Yang Shuyu, I suspect she is a newcomer.

The doctor ML, feels pity and wants to scare the heroine away, but the heroine, who is constantly sucked by her mother, returns to the hero's side again, and the two spend a night together.

This one story I have not seen overdone yet, I've seen 2 other versions with Fan Diyu & Li Key Yi
respectively and they have been both good, even the Fan Diyu / Huang Bo version was particularly bloody and I disliked the ending of that version.

Boring, with these CVDramas you expect to see the same plot points, but this focuses to much on comedy for my taste and lack lacks romance.
