I doubt it will have romance because they took the BL element away
That’s what everyone’s assuming but if the romance in the novel is between and adult and a teen… that’s a reasonable reason to revise things.

The trial in the 1st episode wasn't realistic at all beginning to end.
idk condensing ultimately irrelevant legal proceedings doesn't bother me. brain transplant was the level of realism i was comparing here.
