The subs are really bad I rewatched using VPN those early episodes. Turns out he was out to get the Food people because the Emperor had ordered the then Crown Prince to go on a diet - so the food had to be healthy. So to enforce the emperor's wishes he had a bad start with them because one of them did serve the wrong food.

Then there was saga of someone entering the Food Office, with the false info, which was true but Food Office managed to escape that.

He is also 2nd Prince's son but actually raised by the other brother that's another story.

He does like FL, annoyed because its not mutual lol.... I think he will end up getting together with Yue Hua later on they will be up to no good. Misery loves company hahaha...

I know so frustrating, of all the dramas airing right no, I wonder why the subs are so bad for this drama. I found recently, free Urban VPN works. So I VPN Singapore, only thing is the youtube episodes are behind. I have watched from the beginning and we are losing quite lot because of bad subs and its really unfair for the actors and actresses that their wonderful work will be might be marked down due to subs. I really don't understand why they have made it so hard for people to watch this really good drama.

episode 19 sad one, don't like to see FL suffering and at odds with ML. I do admire her self-respect and courage.

Love how you have written all this down, and absolutely loving the drama. Really love how the drama has introduced the characters and how complex they are at times.

Ah thanks, that makes sense. I thought she would be up to something soon after seeing that concubine die with no kids to be buried with the emperor. I am guessing she has no kids and if the empress dies she can try to adopt her kids to save her skin.

He also knows about the poison she was taking to make herself sick. That must have been heartbreaking for him.

I still don't like Ziping, hope she doesn't betray her later. How can you try to kill the person who has been the nicest to you. Zijin forgave her so easily, she is a better person than I will ever be lol..I also think Ziping is a bit clingy, allow Zi Jin to make other friends. That other girl needed some support and Ziping kept on interrupting each time Zijin wanted to show her some concern.
