I think that is the case because Hyung Joo always helps others so I can't imagine him abandonning them to their fate especially with the gangster and his sister because even without the serial killer they had already problems.. But that would have been nice to see several minutes about it ? And see them reunite at the end as true friend without lies this time.

I found the drama pretty good until the last two episodes. But again I am not very surprised because K-dramas tends to be ultra good to keep the suspense and thrill but when it comes to explanation I feel like I am betrayed haha

Either the serial killer kills for fun or because of a past trauma in K-dramas without much explanation to it. It is a shame frankly. That kinds of reminds me when I thought in "Tunnel" there was more behind the serial killer motivation but was dissapointed.

I would have prefered a" Dexter "like character because Dexter wasn't really a Psychopath or Sociopath (it is my opinion of course but I feel like in series and dramas always serial killer must be a sociopath or psychopath...That is kind of limiting the potential of the character ) it is more like he couldn't differenciate what he was feeling so he was seeking strong emotions and killing was a way for him and thus he was killing bad people.
I would have prefered an explanation like this especialy because we know at some point the reseters were not just good people and they committed some crimes too so that would have been original if they were killed because of their sins (except Hyung Joo and Ga Hyung because the reason would have been they discovered the killer's identity.)

Lmao that would have been even more interesting if Hyung Jo was the killer at least : In the previous timeline Sun Ho was investigating him bu was killed; Hyung Jo knew about his investigation but didn't do anything because he wanted the world to know about his murders so when he saw Sun Ho's killed he was frustrated. Again it could be really original because all of their " friendship" would be just a fake illusion the viewer would believe with some moments and this drama was strong to mislead the viewers that is a shame again.

About the mastermind : Yes you are totally right , I found Lee Shin had way more potential I hate how they changed her in the last episodes like a pushover... Like how ? At least the reason behind the real mastermind should have been better and the way to get rid of him too... I was really awaiting Sun Ho to betray him and to kill him in order to help Hyung Joo because he clearly showed the past episode that his feeling toward him was real, he even tried to frame him in order to not kill him that is why I thought he was a Dexter like. + When he knew Hyung Joo return back in time to save his ass he seemed moved so really what the heck, no character's development for the killer ?

Frankly the drama was great but the explanations was so-so/bad when there were a lot of potential, I was imagining a lot of explanations...

I can't deny I felt like the nose was from Yi Gon but the hands seemed differents. But again It is perhaps just because I am hoping it is Shin Jae I am not sure :/

I read comment about one of Lee Min Ho's interview like what he said he wasn't on the set with Lee Jung Jin until episode 3 or 4 so it was a proof he wasn't the savior but I can't confirm it.

Yeah the way they showed how Shin Jae was a fast gun firer was weird if he isn't the savior ? (+I think Tae Eul is the average shooter when speed maters and Yi Gon isn't good with guns ) But again I feel like your are right and I must because so far the drama only disappoint me...

This drama is really a mess. I don't understand why they would show how good shin Jae was with guns then... And I really thought there were some forshadowing between Yi gon and shin Jae at their first meeting, the way they were talking and how strangely Yi gon get ride of Shin Jae in his list of suspect...
I was excited at least about this because I thought perhaps in the original timeline Yi Gon actually died and Shin Jae was in Corea and tried to end Yi Rim's reign
Or perhaps actually Yi Gon and Shin JAe were fated to be friend but Yi Rim twisted their fate ? Shin Jae's family work for Yi Gon's family and in Korea it is the other way around.

The relationship between Chen Che and Zhen Zhen was cute but so wrooong lmao I wonder how they will explain it to Chen Che's mother ? Zhen Zhen literally saw him as a baby and saw him grew up... It was cute-strange. I would have preferred if there were two "Chen Che" the one who traveled in time and the "new" him after Chen Che butterfly effect but that would be strange too I don't know... It is a shame the mother wasn't aware he is her son all along when he was in the past, I thought that would be the reason why she kept him.

Overall the drama was a nice watch but frankly speaking the romance is wtf at the end because you ship them but at the same time you know it is wrong...

The one burried is Lee Ji-Hun; he was Yi Gon's doppelganger.

I think the doppelganger of Shin Jae died because of his illness.

In Corea, Shin Jae's mom is working for the royal family but in Korea Lee Ji-hun's mom was working for Shin Jae's doppelganger mom. I am wondering if Shin Jae already met Yi Gon when he was a child (not just throught the tv) ? And if Shin Jae's doppelgagner met Lee Ji-Hun ?? I have a feeling those two was meant to be friend but Yi Rim twisted their fates. I am pretty sure the savior was Shin Jae. Somehow in episode 10 Yeong seemed concerned about Shin Jae but not as a foe; he looked worried for him...

They talked about Yi Gon : Shin Jae explained he knew Yi Gon's identity. He revealed he is from Corea and that is why she didn't find him there. He is questionning if it is right for him to be in Korea and asked Tae Eul a hug.

I didn't feel much emotions between Yi gon and Tae Eul's crying moment but here it was sad for me because the poor guy discovered his life in Korea isn't really his life + Tae Eul seems to care much about Yi Gon than Shin Jae when she knows him for years. I just don't get this drama logic

The confrontation with Yi Rim was ***** Yi Gon just stood here and let Yi Rim hurts his peoples. I was awaiting a great confrontation where Yi Gon would fight would fight with all of his will and where some people around them would be spy from Korea, the scene would have been badass if that was the case..................................

They literally make Tae Eul cried three time this episode : in the bamboo forest, in the cemetery and at the end. Didn't they think it would be too much and that her character would lost consistency ? Not even a little ??

To me episodes of last week woke up my enthusiasm but this episodes's week were so boooooring and frustrating. Like the only moments I really liked was with the footage of yoyo kid and short fun or emotional moments with Eun Sub, Yeong and Shin Jae. All Yi Rim's scenes are good when all Yi Gon's scenes suck, I wonder why the drama wasn't centered on Yi Rim at this point I am cheering him.

To me (and it is my opinion, I just want to comment it because something is wrong if I still don't care about the main character), Sung Ryong in Chief Kim is eccentric. Here I have the impression they wanted him to give emotions to the viewers but with the order to not show any facial expression... They tried to make him seem smart but he is just useless and self-centered most of the time. I think the actor feels that and that is why his way of acting is off, he has dead fish eyes to me

I think that is why Tae eul cries a lot because every time she sees him he looks dead
