I just watched the 2 trailers for his upcoming drama Dating in the Kitchen, and just wanted to note (once again, not that I didn't already know before!) that this guy is Hot as Hell!!!
What should i do? This drama left a deep hole in my heart after finished watching. I miss the duo so bad.. T.T
Welcome to the club, many of us have been there for a year! After finishing the novel & all the adaptations, I personally go to bed with a new WangXian fanfiction every night, what can I do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think the reason I have a hard time getting into historical dramas are because I don't know that much about…
It's funny you mentioned it, I used to not know anything about SE Asian history, and as you a lot about Western countries history, though I always loved historical series/movies from before I started on Asian dramas (I also loved The Tudors btw)! And then I started watching Asian historical dramas without knowing anything about their history (I think my 1st one/one of my 1st ones was Jumong) and it was fascinating! It was like being transported into another world, one that I didn't know anything about, and slowly but steadily figuring out the customs, "rules" of this world, discovering the history of these places and eras I used to know nothing about (it helped also reading the Wikipedia page of the place/era/dynasty/king while or after watching too)!! Now I mainly owe my knowledge of Korean/Chinese history to historical dramas, they're quite the journey, don't hesitate to try watching some!!
Anyone else finding Wang Yibo SUPER handsome with his hairstyle like in this drama?? *_*
(I wasn't even a fan of his looks, I mean I loved him because of being Lan Zhan in The Untamed, but I never found him that handsome! But with his look on The Legend of Fei... OMG!!!)
These are all good points! I usually fall into the category of being mildly to extremely annoyed when there's…
Omg I had the exact same experience with The Untamed!! People nowadays always talking about how hyped it is, but it's a fact that back then, when the first episodes were airing, nobody knew about it!! I just happened to randomly decide to click through the 1st episode with zero expectations (only remembering Xiao Zhan from Oh My Emperor of having a beautiful face) and it blew my mind, it hooked me instantly!! Then we started fangirling etc in the comments of its page here in MDL, and from there on I made some great friends, I also started reading the novel & it made me a huge fangirl out of nowhere, and overall now on that's a period in my life that, together with the drama, will remain unforgettable, all these wonderful summer memories!!! *_* And it's funny that it's so hyped now, cause once upon a time I also got annoyed with the hype culture & avoiding hyped dramas/movies/franchises/etc., and I'm kinda feel sorry for the people avoiding it cause of the hype, and dreaded being in their place, thinking of "what if", what if I hadn't discover the drama back then, maybe all these wonderful memories wouldn't have happened!! :/
Which four dramas would you gays going to watch first, if it came out as the same time? The long ballad, the golden…
This one seems to be the stronger & most interesting plot-wise, so this is first priority for me (although I'm scared about what they'll do with the ending that hasn't been written in the manhua), almost tied with The Legend of Fei mainly because of the leads (although I'm scared due to the scandals about changes in scenes etc. that Fei will turn out a mess) and because it's (hopefully) a proper wuxia. The Golden Hairpin will probably get released earlier I think, and that also has good fl actress. Novoland Pearl eclipse I'm only interested in because of Yang Mi at last returning to costume dramas, but otherwise I haven't watched any of the Novoland franchise before, so I don't know.
That is (normally) not possible though, the option to mark it as "completed" is greyed out & unavailable right now, it's possible to rate the drama of course, but NOT to choose the option that it is "completed" for them!! So this is a bug through and through!!
Can someone explain to me, how is it possible that 95 people have completed the drama according to the stats, even though it hasn't finished airing yet, so it can't be marked as "Completed" in mdl?
And here's a blog I found that has started translating it, though it isn't updated since 2016: https://nowayinheaven.wordpress.com/2016/04/23/infomation/
Edit: The English subs are auto-generated/machine translated! :( But the drama does seem interesting!
