Her friend is a peony, and she's just a low level immortal, so there's nothing special about it. I would've preferred him to be something unique that only an emperor could be. It's disappointing for sure.

But does she really think he's a woman? How do we know? Because the conversation she had with his brother would've alerted the brother that she thinks he's a woman. But from their conversation, it does seem that way. So i don't believe they're using pronouns.

So if you're Chinese, are hearing "them" or "her"?

I'm watching on Viki, so Viki translated it wrong? Why would they use subtitles "she" when only the FL is referring to him when all others have the subtitles "he" used?

So they don't have pronouns or their pronouns sound the same? So how do they refer to each other? By their names or titles?

Why does she continue calling the ML "she" when she clearly hears others referring to him as he? Even if she doesn't know his identity, his brother said "he, him, his," multiple times when he was talking to her in the floral painting. It doesn't make sense.

Even if it's just half as good as the original, I'd be happy.

It's not that good. I didn't like the story. I didn't like the sad ending. It seems like a low-budget show. I think the 2 leads are too good for this story.
