WeTV subs were fine when I watched.
So no Viki or WeTV for you...
Some have difficulty one way or another to pay subscription to the original platforms, and there's the geo-blocking hampering others, so finding other ways to watch is a way to express dedication and persistence, all very commendable for the great cause of watching C dramas, lol
I know you are a stalwart kiss pillar with everything you enjoy there 🤣🤣🤣

Title A Date with the Future Spoiler
That scene looked stupid and irresponsible to me given what they were up against. Do you go really partying and…
Thanks but there's no such thing as "drama is not for you" in my case : I watch all sorts, just not with equal enjoyment from A to Z. It's true most have gaping flaws, but I was not expecting a masterpiece anyway.
Nevertheless, if we completely switched off brain and logic, nobody would waste time commenting or venting here?
The drama was really nice in the beginning.
But.
"Girl bonding" scene in crowded bar and dance floor had me react, bc it is one of the tropes that always makes me frown, even if it is a pretext for being "romantically" thrown into the arms of ML (as drunk wretch, ahem...). A trope. Done in countless "modern romances" dramas I've watched, and some movies. Very stupid (and bad example of dealing with trouble) ...
It makes me think of all the dangers that such bar hopping bring : being annoyed (or worse) by strangers, having drugs mixed in drink, getting worse than sick from drink which never is a good healing method for suffering. If it's going to sample drinks and dance with a crowd of friends, it's different: safety comes in number, perhaps.
2 women: no, that is inviting trouble just the same as a lone one imbibing by herself. Irresponsible and risky behavior.
There are better places to chose and better ways to "move on" and get mutual help. Btw, didn't Xu Lai twist her ankle when she fell on the way back from the bar?
( Alright, I'm done with my venting and remarks here for now. Maybe the drama will get back on better tracks after ML's operation.)

Am i missing something? Best kisses?I thought the moment ZBB kissed her, she would automatically closed her mouth,…
I assume she has a clause in contract like Allen Ren, but for other reasons perhaps. I can't remember Janice Wu Qian doing a real kiss in any of the dramas I saw that starred her. But she is quite prettier in this one than in some previous dramas, in my opinion.
Zhang Binbin is the best !!
It was so funny watching his reaction to showing the kiss scenes at the Chengdu event, the other day. You have the link to it on YT in my previous post.

Title A Date with the Future Spoiler
Best scene Dr zhang and Xu Lai partying together and enjoying together. love the girl bonding. 🤗🤗
That scene looked stupid and irresponsible to me given what they were up against.
Do you go really partying and get drunk before operations and difficult investigations?
Girls bonding? When were they best friends to do that?
The only reason was to have the Dr drag XL to hospital to shove her onto JSC as if that was plausible to "help" both. We got a "cute" moment of FL snuggling up on manly chest hidden by pjs. Ok.
The rescue party, the dog coming barking with none of the villains noticing, the Huo rushing with no backup and worse, the JSC suddenly there in pjs still, with no backup despite his having been in touch with the squad about dog escape and having received the SOS...
Well, that was weak in the drama.
Now, both suitors in hospital and lovely lady with barely a scratch has had time to tell her enemy at work that "next time" she will not let her go...
Can't believe the rotten colleague was not fired on the spot. With the evidence they had: why would the company keep that one, when she has proven she brings only trouble?
This drama is indeed full of p(l)ot holes and inconsistencies. Only saving grace is the pretty faces, and I am sorry for them now, to have been dragged into a project that could have been nice, but was so messily executed, up till now at least. William Chan did indeed show nice dimples at one moment and the climbing rope moment was not bad (although I suppose this was not really his muscle strength at work; helped by wire perhaps?), Zhang Ruonan is really pretty, Ci Sha does not stand out as much as he did as the lawyer friend of Zhousheng Chen (Forever and Ever), but he spits out blood nicely too here, when beaten to a pulp. The others are passers-by...
I suppose I will stay watching because I usually don't leave before good or bitter end, unless disgusted. The story is not disgusting, just annoying... TI admit, there's probably better things to do than watching this ....
(Debating: should I have a chocolate mousse or a nice juicy mango to cure my annoyance ? Both are too much, maybe I ought to keep some sugar ready in case of worse disappointment.)
It's one of those stories that started as mildly promising, but grew more and more disappointing and forgettable despite the nice faces. Even the tenet about making firefighters look good was twisted out of whack. But there's a few episodes left.
Sighing and hoping the drama still can be saved from the wastebin...

In my opinion, they are scumbag who think they push their loved ones far for their good when they are in difficult…
Shichuan. Nah, not a scumbag. Clueless in this instance is my opinion, although he could have thought about the hypothetical risk before, given his experience, so the development there is way off. Perhaps (surely) it'll get back on track before long.
I am not that invested in all these characters anyway right at the moment.

Yes... Actually not that funny. It is not (yet) like July 2021 and forecasts are :Beijing : sunny and dry this…
No offense. Things happen. There is no widespread destruction nor casualties this time. Other parts of the world suffer other and at present perhaps worse calamities.
The drama is not a documentary, so there are of course (a lot of) things that are not true to procedures; still I find it interesting that the scope of the action of this corps is wider than in many countries where you know you can't call for official help to deal with "small things" such as wasps nests in the street. This drama has episodes which are far from perfect in some respects and the "romantic" triangle is clearly a burden this time, compounded with the lengthy mourning of the Doctor and obsession of Huo. It is a misguided attempt to spice up the story.
But the faces are pretty and maybe it will end up generally ok. I'm not giving up yet. First episodes were nice and cute. I hope the actress part will bring smthg interesting.

Yes... Actually not that funny. It is not (yet) like July 2021 and forecasts are :
Beijing : sunny and dry this Saturday night
Shanghai :Thunderstorms evening until midnight, cloudy until noon; next, sunny
Guangzhou: some rain showers
BUT Reuters June 9, 2023 reported :
"Non-stop heavy rains lashed parts of southwest China on Friday, triggering floods in cities, engulfing roads and partially submerging buildings.
A particularly harsh first bout of summer rains known locally as "dragon boat water" saw the city of Beihai in Guangxi log 453 millimetres on Thursday. That was a regional daily record for June, according to the China Meteorological Administration.
Cars were half underwater in flooded Beihai streets and at one multi-storey building, water cascaded down a staircase as firefighters raced to rescue its residents, videos circulating on social media showed.
The nearby city of Yulin had had 35 hours of rain as of 7 a.m. local time on Friday (2300 GMT Thursday), broadcaster CCTV reported.
Rain is forecast to continue in southern China over the coming days while the northeast is also expected to be hit by sudden thunderstorms, the weather bureau reported.
China, prone to floods, is increasingly warning of more extreme weather due to climate change. Guangxi experienced a rare extreme drought in May, with rainfall plunging to 60-year lows.
The central province of Henan, the granary of China, was recently struck by heavy rainfall that caused crops to sprout or be hit by blight, triggering concerns about food security."

what app are you using to see more episodes? I'm stuck on 8 until the next day load.
I'm also watching that one, same :) Also contributed an MDL Discussion there about Earthquakes in China, if you'd like to have a look :)

There you go, then : https://kisskh.co/Drama/Mr--Insomnia-Waiting-for-Love/Episode-9?id=7498&ep=127338&page=0&pageSize=100
You can binge up til 18 today, after that it will be snail pace again (2 per day) until ep 24 for the last six ones until finale. Happy watching!

I also use kiss lol, bc I got impatient at waiting till next week for Here We Meet Again - am on WeTV vip too, but they were proposing a "fast track", and as much as I love Zhang Binbin, I was balking at the complication to use Google pay (I am an alien who prefers other payment options, lol!) I just spent a goodly hour watching yesterday's good BinBin Tencent event and summary in lieu of subtitling for the youtube audience. Loved how Binbin sang the Chengdu song a capella !
When you are through with Mr Insomnia, and if you have not watched HWMA already, I recommend you having fun with that one too !

Meanwhile I'm moving on to Skip A Beat thriller romantic drama starring Luo Zheng. That one is on iQiyi, also vip. I assume much will be on kiss too there, for those who can't or won't splurge.

Title Skip a Beat
You don't understand that once a jerk falls in love, he would turn 360 degrees in an instant. It's like receiving…
😁😁😁 Looking forward to it. I am still on the very toxic beginning, in ep4. Need to view some more episodes to get the story to that part...

Luo Zheng does stand out as a memorable face, although not in my preferred catalogue, since the stupid "Time To Fall In Love". The others are, to me, unexceptional, although I did remember Guo Jia Nan from some other dramas, albeit mostly from an over sugary one ("My Dearest Boss").
20 episodes only. All rrright then, despite this drama is not that interesting at the moment, so I will need some pauses to watch episodes.
But I am not halfway in, yet. And I hate to be too damning before I've reached the bitter or pleasant end 😁

I was looking forward to the next couple episodes 16-17. ... but these are getting quite too melodramatic, even to my very forgiving mind. Quick! next ones!; Or should I wait to fast forward until it gets back on track ?
I liked the story up till now but the blaming the kid, forcing break off, not telling, telling and shoving old papers into face, is getting too repetitive and protracted. The wading to find lost ring was exactly how it felt symbolically : wading in morass. And why were they on a beach with incoming tide, in the first place? It is getting nonsensical. Let's hope the next episodes will not be more of the same!
Plus the dolls don't look good with tears streaming down their faces like that.
Revising my rating downwards :(

Back to this little gem after the long hiatus since ep 13 :)
I started for uncomplicated fluff as dessert to other watching, but I admit I got hooked on the adorable look of the leads and the unlikely story, also wondering how the romance would turn out if they did not find a counter-measure to the Go-slumbering magic touch. lol.
We knew Mansu had designs; and now it looks like Uncle-Brother Chen is not as clean as we could have thought... Hmm, ---快把!next episode!

the production of cdramas are usually cheap lets be honest... they dubbed actors voices cuz it's cheaper and easier…
yes, I found the names of the dubbers following links and have posted them later here 😆

William cannot do his own dubbing as he speaks Mandarin with a thick HK accent. He has to be dubbed by voice actors…
Baidu (linked in DramaWiki) gives the names of the dubbers of
William Chan (Sun Ruiyang 孙睿扬 ),
Ci Sha (Shi Zekun 史泽鲲 ),
Qiu Henan (Yi Fan 弋凡),
Mao Xuewen (Lu Xiran 路熙然)
Zhang Ruonan is dubbed by herself
The others get no dubbing mention, but there is a Dubbing Director (Bei Chen 北辰) in the credits
