Omo, OCN, what have you done to me? I can't believe: before I knew it I was literally throwing fists into thin air and kicking and ducking and dodging while watching this epic fight scene. Luckily I was alone in the room and when it was over and i realized how carried away I got, I could laugh to my heart's content without having to feel embarrassed. This was a first, I never care too much about action scenes, but the whole build-up got to me! Really crazy episode, so many raw emotions and so much adrenaline. Kudos to all the cast and crew of this drama! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ltaoj_nfvZk&list=UUGKQ4Tw5nPXMGsoYZHrHYeA
Well, it's not as thrilling as the Japanese version. but it's not a low quality drama either. I like how they sort of "reshuffled" the characters and main plot points, it's like creating a new puzzle of the same image. It's not boring, even though i know the story. And I quite like the cast to be honest.
Argh, it's such a hassle to watch different adaptations of the same piece... as much as I try not to compare, comparisons do pop into mind. And I don't even think about them seriously, as I am more annoyed with myself and the very own idea of making those unwanted parallels...
That being said, Joo Won's characterization of Cha Yoo Jin is flawless if you ask me. No matter how I look at it, the role suits him and he suits the role (as it was written in this script). He is a pleasure to look at, pulling you in with his charisma, perfect looks and talent. His rendition of the warm hearted cold looking jerk, of the whole push and pull interaction with Nae Il makes my day each time he is at it.
The other actor claiming my full attention and, to my surprise, my support is Go Gyeong Pyo. His Yoo Il Rak is so natural, maybe the least "acted" character of the whole cast. His facial expressions, his voice, everything just seems normal and fitting. Really love what he does in this drama.
Oh and I have to mention this: I like that there is at least 1 line that has me bursting into laughter each episode. This time it was all about "Are you a koala?"
