Even Though it has a tragic endiing but the relation between the characters is amazing. Many people are thinking…
Not just love for motherland, but love between characters. Not just romantic love, but familial and deep friendship. I really like the growth in the character of Hui Seong. He starts out a shallow playboy and develops slowly into a really solid person. I found that character really annoying early on, and I think the writers intended that, but I actually know some people like the early Hui Seong.
This is a top tier k-drama, IMO. The acting all around is very good. The writing, directing, videography, lighting, costumes, are top notch. Kim Tae Ri's character as executed by her is adorable, lovely, beautiful, feminine, yet credibly tough. Kim Min Jung's voice just makes me melt, it is so soothing and beautiful, which are a plus for her character.
I liked it enough to finish it, but I was glad there were only 12 episodes and was glad it was over. I mainly finished it because Chae Soo Bin is on my "must see" list. Were it not for her, I probably wouldn't have bothered finishing this drama.
she is pretty but for some reason her nose bothers me :/ is it only me?
For me, her nose is one of those imperfections that makes her more attractive. It makes her stand out and more adorable. Similar effect as Bae Suji's overbite, at least I think so.
The way Ms. Hwang looks in "Master's Sun" should be in a dictionary to illustrate the meaning of the term "drop dead gorgeous". In one particular shot in that show, they zoomed in just showing her eyes. Wow! She did a good job acting in it too, BTW.
I don't agree at all with the author at all about K-dramas of the past couple of years being no good. Just recently I got a new favorite, "Hotel del Luna". (Though the incorrect Spanish title bothers me just a little.) IU joined my list of must see stars.
Many decades ago, a well known science fiction writer was interviewed. He was asked, "Isn't 90% of science fiction cr*p?" The sci-fi writer replied, "90% of everything is cr*p." I agree. K-dramas are no exception.
He did a great job in "My ID is Gangnam Beauty". In one particular scene, he made me so angry that I could feel my blood pressure go up and I just wanted to pound him into a pulp. I am sure that was exactly what was supposed to happen!
I didn't know that the director of Hotel Del Luna is the same as the director of While You Were Sleeping. That is interesting as Hotel Del Luna has become my next favorite, displacing my previous favorite While You Were Sleeping.
I arguably have Multilingual Syndrome. While my best friend is Korean, I didn't start tossing in Korean words into my speech until I starting watching K-dramas. But it wasn't my friend that got me into K-dramas. I just ran across Park Shin Hye in "You're Beautiful". She was so hugely adorable, I was instantly hooked.
I certainly have Eye-Candy Syndrome, the objects of which are: Park Shin Hye, Lee Sung Kyung, Suzy Bae, and Shin Min Ah.
I have only watched two episodes but I'm so in love with this drama. I just finished Healer and I needed to watch…
Park Min Young is really impressive in that she looks so sexy yet real (as opposed to the common inhumanly gorgeous typical of K-dramas) in relatively simple business attire. I can imagine seeing someone like that on a Seoul subway, and I have ridden Seoul subways quite a lot.
