I feel like they will make them the 2nd lead couple, since this version is more heavy on romance compared to the…
I truly hope for that too. I didn’t like the 2ML going after the FML in the chinese version. I know it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously and he didn’t have any romantic feelings for her, but I still didn’t like that storyline. Also, in the original version, the 2ML and the FML's friend didn’t have much screen time together, so I didn’t mind their story. But in this version, they already have great chemistry, so I really hope he will only have her as his love interest.
Really? I see and feel so many differences 😂 But not per se bad, just different. Well, it would be boring if…
Ok, so when I say there are no differences, I mean that both versions are not better or worse than one another and are equally good. Ofc, they are different—if they were going to be the same, why bother making a remake right? In the Chinese version, I didn’t like that 2ML went after the FML, even though his only intention was to become part of her family. I know he had no feelings for her, but the fact that he wanted to marry her, even temporarily, made me kind of uncomfortable, and I’m not sure why.
The story between the FML's friend and the 2ML (I don’t remember their names now) wasn’t highlighted much in the Chinese version, so it was okay that they weren’t together in the end. But in this version, they’ve already had too much screen time in just two episodes, so I really hope they get a chance to be together instead of the 2ML pursuing the FML, even if it’s not serious.
I don't see much difference between this and the original version so far. If i really have to choose i like the childhood storyline better in the korean version. Other than that, both are equally good. But, I truly hope they change the story between Hae Jun and Park Dal in this version, as I didn't like how twisted it was in the original. They should be the second lead couple
This was so excellent for me and enjoyed every bit until the 13th ep came, and I cringed so much at the dialogues,…
I don’t know what’s been ick for you, as I didn’t feel that way. Both Seung Hyu's parents and the Seung Hyu-Seok Ryu couple have been hiding and delaying their feelings for a long time, which is why they might seem cheesy (if they do) .It’s very natural for them to behave that way, and if they didn’t, it would be weird given the nature of their relationships. . As you said, Seung Hyu's parents never had the chance to enjoy their life as newlyweds since they’ve both been very busy, so now that they get the chance to do it all over, they act all crazy. If that really bothers you, maybe it’d be better for you to stop watching the rest. But for me, the last three episodes were so great and funny, and I enjoyed them a lot. If the way those couples express their love for each other bothers you, nothing much about it is going to change in the next three episodes, so maybe it’s better to skip them.
Am I the only one that think their kisses aren't that passionate?
Yes, no hate for her, but I think that’s because of So Min. I’ve watched many dramas of her, and in each one, her kiss scenes aren’t very passionate. Even here, you can see that Hae In is trying his best to make them passionate, but So Min doesn’t respond the same way, which results in less passionate kiss scenes. She’s a great actress without a doubt, but in that area, she’s kind of dull. Still, their chemistry is great for me.
Rated this 10/10 in the beginning, and it’s still a 10/10 even at the end for me. So beautifully done. I feel so bad for this drama because, due to so many misunderstandings and impatient viewers, it lost so much of the rating it truly deserves. I have nothing to complain about; everything was perfect, and I’m truly satisfied.
Most K-dramas just end without giving satisfactory closure nowadays, but this one gave us the perfect ending throughout the entire last episode without dragging it to the last minute. I got to savor the ending so much that I felt like the last episode went by so fast. I loved how each and every character developed, especially Seok Ryu. Her behavior towards Seung Hyu totally changed over the last few episodes, which helped me understand her character more and made me reflect on my past feelings towards her. I felt bad for despising her, even for a second, in the past.
I know the majority might not agree with me, but for me, this is the best romcom I've watched this year. Not only was it funny, but the slow-burn romance and the whole story overall were full of emotions. I just love it. If I really had to find a flaw, I’d say it would have been great to see the wedding, but that was barely noticeable for me with all the very natural interactions between them throughout the entire episode.
I’m truly going to miss this one, so much so that I had tears at the end of the episode. Thank you to the whole crew for this masterpiece.
Episode 15 was my favorite so far. The dads and moms crack me up so hard. Yet it was so emotional as well..I cried and laughed at the same time...Every episode is just getting better and better.
I waited to watch both episodes 13 and 14 before commenting this time so I could share my thoughts in one go.
After watching episode 13, I wanted to say that whoever wrote the dialogues deserves a raise. Seong Hyu's lines are especially beautiful. When he said that the words "I love you" don't seem to justify how he feels, it was so emotional and heartfelt. I was also proud of myself for predicting weeks ago that it’s not the Dan Ho's daughter but his niece. I always sensed that somehow. But I wasn't really a fan of Seok Ryu's behavior in episode 13, tbh. At first, I felt like Seok Ryu doesn't love Seong Hyu as much, but by the end, that thought vanished as I began to understand her.
Episode 14 was so good; I laughed so hard! From the failed proposal to the fight between the mothers and the friendship between the fathers, it was all so much fun. I loved how the story doesn’t revolve around serious conflicts. The mothers' fight felt comedic rather than serious. Even Mo Eum’s mom accepted them quickly, which was satisfying to watch.
But the preview for episode 15 annoys me a little. I know the parents need to be against them for the story to continue, but it feels like Seok Ryu's mom is obstructing every decision she makes. It's a bit frustrating, but I still can’t wait for the last two episodes. I can’t believe it will end next week—my weekends will never be the same without it! I really want to see the next two episodes, but at the same time, I wish this week would slow down a bit. Now my only hope is for them to have the happiest and non-rushed ending.
Yes, I feel that way too. I thought I had matured a little, lol. I used to argue with such commenters, but now I hardly feel bothered by them. It seems like those who are still hating have some other issues, and it definitely can't be about the plot anymore because it's that good. So, I don’t mind those comments anymore; I’d rather put my energy into waiting for the next episode and finding as much information as I can about it.
I have no words to describe how much I'm enjoying this. Knew it would be my favorite drama this year from the very first episode, and so far, it hasn't let me down. Watched the one-hour episode for three hours today while screaming into a pillow at 4:30 AM, just like everyone else. Every emotion is so well portrayed and delivered—it's just so good! Even after finishing, my butterflies have still not settled. 😌♥️
I just finished the episode and screamed the whole way through. HAUAOAIAUAUAUAA GOD THANK YOU, this is clearly…
Same reaction..watched every scene at least twice, so it took more than three hours to finish the episode. Paused at least 20 times during the ending scene just to catch my breath—felt like giant butterflies were in chaos in my tummy! 😂♥️
Can someone who watched this spoil whether she'll be possessed by that game character throughout the entire drama, or if it's something that happens to her from time to time??
.. since the writer already moved the plot to heavy melodrama territory once, I fully expect that Moeum's mom…
Oh yes..but im sure it won't drag that long because, 1.2FML mom is much more cooler than the mom in that drama. 2. They are the second leads so i dont think they will waste that much time on the second leads...
For me not really, the drama hasn't ended and there's still a change that can happen so am still rooting for them…
What exactly do you mean by having no developments so far? Are we watching the same drama? Their romance is the only thing that hasn’t had significant development yet. It takes time, and anyone who understands the depth of their friendship will never complain about the development of their relationship because they can see how hard it is to go from being lifelong friends that were once like siblings to being lovers. It’s not an easy process that can be wrapped up in just few episodes, especially given the current situation with the FML. Besides the romance, isn’t Seok Ryu finally completely cutting off her ex, and her mom and Seung Hyo learning about her sickness, her finding her dream, and Seung Hyo finally stopping denying his feelings and confessing to Seok Ryu considered development? I only mentioned the developments of the leads. So many things happened between the second leads, and we got to know what exactly happened to Seok Ryu in the past. All these things are developments that have happened in the last 9 episodes. It’s too much to say nothing happened. Why is only the romance used as a measure for the development of the plot? If you look at the plot so far, it has been developing all this time, including the romance, but people are only focused on the leads' relationship that they miss a lot of important points from the drama.
Honestly, I feel like the main reason why some people still ship the main leads is because they like the actors…
I never had a special interest in the lead actors, but I love them together—they have such great chemistry in this drama. Yes, they have their ups and downs, but that doesn’t mean they’re not good together. I love seeing their relationship evolve from being lifelong friends to love interests. Turning such a strong friendship into love isn’t a simple process, and I believe the writers have portrayed that transition well in their relationship so far.
Idc what people say here I am absolutely LOVING this drama and it keeps getting better when I watched ep 8 I was…
Glad I’m not alone. Yes, I’m also very worried about the FML, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying this drama. Honestly, it got better for me after the twist (though I hope it remains just a part of their past). Things have become more exciting and emotional, and we’ll get to see their healing process as a result. I don’t understand why people are judging it already. It’s going great so far.
Other than the tons of anxiety I had while watching, this episode was really good. I like how ep 9 ended without dragging out the whole “hiding” plot any further. Now that everything’s out in the open, I’m excited to see how everyone’s character development and relationships play out. I really hope the writers will just leave the past in the past and only use it as a reason to make things better in the present. I’m sticking with my 10/10 rating for now because I’m still obsessed with the drama, and it's too soon to judge—the plot is still so great, it’s realistic, exciting, and emotional. But if things get worse for the FML, I might lower my rating since I don't expect that kind of twist from this drama.
