I've got some questions now. Why she took a 1 year break in 30?she seemed so nervous when the recruiter asked the reason so i don't think it was something simple. I think she was either pregnant or it was something that's related to her job. Or maybe she tried to do what she truly wanted to do for 1 year then failed? Or maybe she was sick? Really curious about the theories for that. And this is lil dumb but ML liking stories with tragic endings? Is that a sign? 😭 I hope not..

I think we all always knew it deep down. His reactions and expressions towards her and how he always secretly cared for her or came running whenever she called him even though he never showed that... I think those actions spoke louder than words.

1. Either she was preganant and had a miscarriage or something
2. She was abused in her workplace
3. she decided to take a year off then try her real dream for one year but failed.
4. she was/ is terminally ill and tried some treatments for a year.

I don't think anything happened between them, but the ML definitely had, and still has, feelings for the FML. Maybe his feelings started to develop there. The FML must have also felt something briefly in that moment, but I still don’t think anything actually happened between them

Still on episode 1, so I don’t know if I’m judging it too soon, but the ML had to sacrifice his entire future for his brother. The brother apparently is living the life that the ML was supposed to live, but now they treat him like a burden. They should be grateful to him, but instead, they abandoned him when he needed them the most and continue to treat him poorly. I want to slap that whole family so bad at this point.

He dies in the first 2 episodes? Glad i decided not to watch it.. Was gonna watch it for him. Please let me know if there's a plot twist in the future.

Yes i agree .. Now when I think about it, its better off this way. But then they shouldn't have hinted us about sang pil's first love... We had no expectations from them anyway. Now i feel bad because he's the only one who didn't get his "happy ending"

True. I’m so glad there are still people like us who enjoy these kind of simple dramas. I rarely see comfort dramas like this anymore; most of the dramas nowadays are so complex because that's what majority prefers.

Yes it would've been lovely to see him get his own "happy ending" as well.. I liked his character alot. Let's just hope he got his happy ending although we didn't get to see it 😊

I've seen a lot of complaints about this drama being predictable and typical. Personally, I enjoyed this one a lot. I don't believe every drama needs to have a big story with plot twists. It's okay to be typical and simple. A drama with a straightforward and fun story can still be enjoyable. There are people like me who appreciate lightweight dramas that offer comfort rather than confusion and complexity. I loved this drama, but I'm not satisfied with the ending. Sang Pil's story felt unfinished, and the short length of the drama led me to rate it only 8.5. Despite this, I really enjoyed it. I hope there will be more K-dramas like this in the future, where we can escape the complexities of life and enjoy simplicity peacefully.

I feel robbed right now because of Sang Pil’s scene in episode 8. If Hye Ji was truly Sang Pil’s first love, they should have ended up together. I don’t see the need to introduce a whole new character as her love interest when a better story could have been developed between Sang Pil and Hye Ji. The new character’s story only took extra time and effort (I liked that story too, but I would have preferred Sang Pil as her love interest). I wonder why Sang Pil didn’t make any moves if she was really his first love. He didn’t even try to start anything, which is confusing. I wish they hadn’t included that part in the drama. It would have been better if that scene was left out so we could believe that he never had feelings for her, and therefore, there would be nothing to lose.

Reading the comments, I realized that I am actually one of the very few who enjoyed this. I didn’t know it was a webtoon adaptation, and I watched it when I was too young to remember most of the details. However, one thing I clearly remember is that I enjoyed it a lot back then. While I may not enjoy it as much if I watch it now, I’m pretty sure I loved it the first time I watched it.

After watching the ending of episode 5, I was surprised at how things were resolved so quickly. Then I found out that this drama only has 8 episodes. For me, this drama is so good that it should have been at least 12 episodes long😭
