I guess i have no choice but to stop watching it from episode 15..I will never be able to handle them breaking up... It will tear me apart..this is hard but will drop it from here for the sake of my mental health. I still couldn't forget the last scene from episode 15 where they played jaurim's song. Please God give me the strength to not watch today's ep 😭

So no point of changing departments? They still had to break up? I just don't understand. Yu rim and ji woong's situation is lot more harder and they both are each other's first love but if they can keep dating despite all of that, why couldn't they (hee doo & yi jin) protect their relationship during hard times? Can't believe they just gonna break up like that. Im devastated. 😭

It is neither realistic that the first love was failed, nor is it unrealistic that it was successful. In real life, or in this drama, reality is not about failing the first love. This is not the first time I've said this here, but this will probably be the last time. The reality is that living with a good mutual understanding, facing problems, somehow protecting what is valuable and precious to you. In my opinion, trying to protect what precious to you by giving it up is more unrealistic. It does not matter if it is your first love, 100th love or some other kind of a relationship. If someone is very valuable to you, the most realistic thing you can do is try to protect that bond/relationship. It seems ridiculous to me that some people try to make every successful relationship a fantasy and make every failed relationship a reality. I was addicted to this story. Although I love this drama so much, I believe that the attempt to make an unnecessary separation between the leads just to show, "First love always fails and that is the reality," has ruined the value at the end of the story. I still don't see this whole issue as a reasonable excuse to make them separate as they had such a strong bond. I wish people could focus more on their relationship instead of seeing their relationship as another "first love". It's really sad to see them grow apart just like that when they were perfectly fine with each other.

I think it'd be appropriate to use the word "cruelest" to define this drama. It's one of the cruelest dramas I've ever watched. I don't usually watch dramas that might have sad endings. But still I watched this even when i knew this would tear me apart, because i loved the plot of the story i thought I'd be able to enjoy this drama despite the sad part. But still it wrecked me at the last episode. They didn't stop making it sadder. But the fact that i watched this even when i knew it'd be a tragedy, because it's a beautiful story. So not gonna blame its high ratings. But I'll never watch a tragedy like this ever again in my life. It's harder to watch tragedies when we know it's gonna be a tragedy.

For me they should show how they fight for their relationship.. Most of the people knew around had told that their…
Totally agreed with everything you said. Glad to know there are more who have the same opinion as me ❤️

In the recent interview, NJH said it'd be fun to watch remaining episodes of the drama. And also he addressed the infamous "dead" theory and kind of confirmed he's not gonna die. Now I'm curious about the "fun part" in the remaining episodes

I was eagerly waiting to watch last episodes but now it's getting closer and closer, I feel more anxious. Desperation is better than a heartbreak. 😭

Everyone’s saying “it’s realistic” bro I don’t want dramas for reality, I watch them to escape reality.…
Exactly my point. Don't know why people are obsessed with the "reality" even in the dramas. 🙄 I've been watching kdrama over a decade now and was fine with so called "unrealistic endings & stories". More than fine actually. They kept me going throughout the shitty "reality" in real life.

I am sorry but what is the point on showing the romantic development between NH and YJ to not end up together,…
They will somehow throw this breakup to make it more "realistic". I hate the word "reality" now because I know that word is gonna ruin the last episode of this wonderful story. Screw the real life. We want the justice to what we've witnessed in this story so far. Just because they somehow break them up within last two episodes, doesn't make it realistic.

I have been saying that i am ok with whatever the ending is and believe it will stay as a wonderful story. But,…
I don't understand how they protect their love by breaking up. It seems they haven't been in touch with each other at least as friends after they broke up. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. 🙄

Idk, this sounds less like the show failed the purpose they had for the story and more like they failed the purpose…
Even though I used word "purpose" to describe my view, i didn't mean that was the main purpose of the whole story. What you said is true. This story is about Na hee doo and few young people who had to deal with different challenges in their life. What i meant is, it'd be more meaningful if they could show us na hee doo and Baek yi jin overcome the issues they had to deal with as a journalist and a subject and keep their relationship stronger instead of ruining it in the same way they ruined the friendship between mom and coach. For me, repeating what happened in the past again is an attempt to prove "there are no such things as strong bonds and relationships, when the reality hits, everything will be ruined no matter how strong they are" or "No trust, love or understanding can save a relationship when people have to face obstacles in reality". I think they could've done better if they didn't try so hard to make it so "realistic". Again, I'm not talking about a happy ending here. I just think if they ruin the relationship between main leads because of this "reporter - subject" issue, it won't just make any difference. That'll just prove, they were also failed to keep their personal relationship because of their professional life. This is just a part of the whole story line, but that part is also played a huge role in the entire story. So in my opinion, instead of ruining their relationship, it'd much better if they could make it work. It'll give good closure to this whole issue.

Honestly I'm annoyed by tvN & theteams handling of the drama this week. It's like they don't trust the viewersresponse…
If this whole synopsis thing is true, im disappointed in tvN because of numerous reasons. Not only they have completely ruined viewer's curiosity and the interest but also they have failed to rely a meaningful message from the drama because they invested too much into "reality".

So everything is gonna repeat itself? Nothing is gonna change? What happened between he do's mom and coach is gonna happen between main leads too? So what's the purpose of this drama then? How beautiful it would be if they show us how they're gonna overcome all the obstacles they have to go through as a reporter and subject because the strong bond between those two. This is not about having a happy ending anymore. This is about how they failed show the purpose of this story. One relationship was ruined because of their Profesional issues. Not just one. Na hee do and her mom's relationship also wasn't stable because that. Then what this show supposed to show us is, if two people have enough trust and love between them, they can overcome anything without ruining the relationship. It doesn't always have to be a couple, it could be friends, siblings or any kind of relationship. If the bond and the relationship is strong enough between two people, they can overcome anything. Whether this is realistic or not, they should've rely this message instead of repeating what exactly happened between coach and mom. They have completely underestimated the value of mutual understanding, love and trust between two people.
(wrote this based on the assumption of their cause of breakup would be the reporter-subject issue. I know they can have lot of reasons to breakup up but another reason wouldn't make sense at all according to the whole story line we've witnessed so far. If you all gonna talk about the reality here, just remember we are talking about the story we've watched.. That story is about Na hee do and Baek Yi Jin. We have seen their story, so the breakup should be based on their story. What most of the people go through their "real life" will not be applicable to this story as it won't match with the story they have developed so far.)

Ep 16 synopsis “they loved each other so passionately & depended on each other but they broke up. in ep 16,…
Thanks.. I don't see why i should keep watching this when they just spoiled the whole ending like that.. 🙄 I was going to keep watching and accept any kind of an ending since I really love and addicted to this drama. At least I was curious about the ending. But after knowing what's gonna happen I lost both curiosity and will power to watch.
