So far it's "falling for ML" phase for FML while "not admitting his own feelings" for ML. so still can't comment on this.. But I really love what they have already.
And the police officer (which I strongly believe it's his son) is feeling sorry now so this is why he's protecting…
There's huge possibility that the piano teacher is not the real culprit but maybe he's trying to protect the real culprit, who is probably his son. That's why he never said anything when he was questioned by the police. But the problem is I also strongly belive his son is that cop guy and he doesn't seems to be a bad guy. Maybe something happened accidentally and they were trying to cover it..? Anyway dahyun also has something to do with ML's sisters disappearance. That's why her emotions are linked to ML. Probably that's also why she can't remember that incident or anything from that time period. And the fact that her grandmother and mother clearly knows something or connected to the case of ML's sister, seemed to be something they had done to protect or cover dahyun (just like how they did with the stalker guy). Maybe they saw something and mistaken that dahyun did it so covered it up but once she regains her memories they'd realize that actually it was not the case but dahyun was trying to protect ML's sister? I don't know just one of my many theories.
This drama has so much potential. I really love this drama and it's been a while since I felt such an excitement for a kdrama. Looking forward for the next ep
Depends how you view it but I see it has a happy ending.
Thanks alot. But I'm in a tough spot now. I've been enjoying the drama so far so i don't feel like dropping it but dramas with bitter sweet endings are not my cup of tea. Don't know what to do now😭
I've gone through the comment section to check if it has a happy ending. But instead saw way too much spoilers about the ending. Can someone please tell me if it has a happy ending for the main leads? And also please be kind enough to put spoiler tags for the comments about the ending.
Wow... This is beyond my expectations. Such a beautiful drama. I rarely get emotional while watching c dramas because most of the time they have happy, fairy tale kind of endings. But the latter part of this drama made me cry all day. Glad they have focused so much on the relationship between parents and the daughter here. It hits me so hard. Overall beautiful and emotional drama
Not at all... I didn't feel that... XZ looks young and handsome but definitely not younger than YZ... And btw...…
Again, i wasn't only talking about the age thing and I didn't mean it in a bad way. And never said she's uglier than the ML or anything. I don't think i have any right to judge people like that. Many times i felt little uncomfortable to see her acting in this drama. So i just assumed one of the reasons might be the fact that she didn't look younger than the ML like she was supposed to be. Ofc this is just my opinion. I don't know about her personal life or anything and also, looking older than some people, doesn't mean she's ugly. It's just that I personally belive they could've casted someone else who is more suitable to this role. That too, is just my opinion. I just wanted to check whether I'm the only one who felt that way while watching the drama. Looking older than the ML is just a part of my comment. That was not the point of my comment at all.
Is 10 years age difference much thought? Obviously, it's more noticeable if you compare a 10 year old to a 20…
I never thought of the age gap as a problem. I think you misunderstood my comment. Their age gap is completely fine. I just meant im not a big fan of her acting. Again, no hate on her. It's just my opinion. And about the age thing... I just said in my eyes, she looked older than the ML. I'm not a fan of her i even skipped go go squid because i didn't like her acting in that as well. I don't hate her or anything I'm not that fond of her acting that's all. And i must say, just because i don't like her acting, doesn't mean she's bad at acting. It's just my personal opinion. I hate to judge people when I know nothing about the efforts and sacrifices they have done to be where they are today. So I never judge people. I'm just not a big fan of her acting and i felt pretty uncomfortable to watch this drama because of that. I just wanted to check if it's just me who felt that way..
A drama? They recommended lot of similar dramas in the recommendation section. But in case you've missed that, most similar drama to this one is reply 1988. They have pretty much the same vibe. And also girl's generation 1979 and all the reply series are also similar to 2521
I'm in 16th episode now and so far i really enjoyed this drama. I purposely delayed watching it because i didn't wanna wait until they release the next episode. Usually i don't comment on actors individually and their acting in dramas. That's why I'm really sorry to say this but in every episode, i felt like yang zi is not suitable for this role. This is just my opinion and no hate on her. I feel little uncomfortable to watch her in this drama. She is supposed to be 21 years old while the main lead is 31 years old. I don't see that age gap at all between them. For me, male lead actually look younger than the FML. That's not the reason why i felt uncomfortable though. I honestly don't know why i feel this way. But I can't help but think that she's not a good choice for this role. Is it just me or anyone else felt the same way?
Just watch all them. The ending is beautiful. Just because it's a sad ending doesn't mean it's not a beautiful…
No matter how beautiful the drama is, don't watch if you can't handle sad endings. I'm just like you. I used to avoid every drama with possible sad endings. But i watched this because i absolutely loved this drama. But that love wasn't enough for me to appreciate the ending. If you can stop yourself from episode 15, definitely watch this. And also skip all the present (2021) scenes where they show you old na hee doo and her daughter. Then this will be one of the most beautiful dramas you've ever seen. Don't listen to this "realistic ending" thing because it is not realistic at all. People think it's realistic just because they broke up. But that breakup itself is unrealistic if you look at the whole story line.
I haven't still completely recovered from the emotional damage happened from this drama. It still hurts like my own breakup. But still i want to give my final review on this drama. I still see people talk about the realistic ending and appreciating this drama saying it is good in every aspect. I don't blame that because everyone can have their own opinions and i also agree this is one of the best dramas I've ever watched. But people talk about the reality here and trying to justify the ending is a joke to me. This is the most painful drama that I've watched. I never felt this much of pain from any other drama. Because the other dramas with sad endings that I've watched so far could be accepted even if they were sad. But this ending is different. It's far from reality. ALL THE BREAKUPS ARE NOT REALISTIC. They were wonderful together. They had this amazing relationship but then they suddenly became strangers to each other. Breaking up in good terms, supporting each other from a distance... These things never made it realistic. What's the point of breaking up to protect love if they can't even be a part of each other's lives anymore. It was clear that they became strangers after the breakup. They just threw this breakup out of nowhere just to make it more "realistic" but why can't they see that breakup is the most unrealistic thing happened in the drama? People use big words to describe the reason. "They didn't want keep apologizing to each other, their support wasn't reaching each other anymore....". Although they used these words to justify their breakup, the reason for their break up was simply that they weren't ready to be in a relationship with sacrifices. After everything happened between them, how could that be a valid reason to breakup? That breakup just made them into strangers. How is that be a reality? Only breakup is realistic? Overcoming problems and staying together is not realistic? What kind of theory is that? Yu rim even changed her citizenship and left korea to permanently to live in a different country. Their situation was lot more harder and more difficult to bear. That should be the relationship where they couldn't see a future together. Because no one knew what would happen next in that relationship. Until yu rim retires, she couldn't go back to Korea and since people hated her alot, she wasn't even sure if she could ever return. It'd be more realistic if they broke up. But still they didn't breakup and continued their relationship. If we look at the whole drama, yu rim and ji woong's relationship wasn't something that special. It was beautiful ofc. But it was something that we all had in one point. But na hee do's and Baek yi jin's relationship was one in a million kind of a relationship. That was the whole point of the story. But a normal relationship like ji woong's and yu rims could survive but not yi jin's and na hee do's? Just because they were busy, they couldn't see a future together. I have lot of friends who have long distance relationships. But all of them are going even stronger than the normal relationships. And my childhood friend is still dating her first love but they're also in a long distance relationship. Then aren't these people a reality because they are still together without drifting apart from each other? When you're young, of course you will have problems. That's the point of having a relationship. It will not be perfect all the time. Until you settle down in terms of career and other matters, every relationship has its own problems. But the relationship is what matters. Of course everything depends on the value you give to each other. If there's no mutual feelings and values, it won't be a successful relationship. But if there's still love and the relationship is still important, then normal people will still endure these problems and try to protect what they have. I still can't belive this whole breakup and the reason behind that because what they had was not an ordinary love. They obviously were in love with each other even the time they decided to breakup. Im struggling alot to accept the whole thing happened and move on. I also loved this drama and whole story was precious. But I must say the ending was very unrealistic and unreasonable and it 100% ruined the beautiful journey they came on. I still can't forget the last scene in the tunnel where they said goodbye to each other. It tore me apart.. They were not supposed to be like that. They meant to be in each other's lives for a long time. I have never regretted anything other than the fact that I decided to watch this drama.
Loved this alot..one of the 2 dramas I love the most in 2022. Im sad it ended this soon 😭❤️ but the ending was little rushed. They added alot in the last episode. They should've easily made it to 16 episodes. Anyway i was heartbroken after watching 2521 . But this made me happy and helped alot to heal my broken heart .I'll miss them alot ❤️😭 Gonna re-watch this again❤️❤️
I never thought i was this attached to that drama. I feel so silly now.. I keep telling myself it's just a drama but why am I keep crying like an idiot? I want to heal myself fast because i don't think I'll be able work tomorrow like this 😭😭😭 but gosh it's hard... Please God help me to move on.... I really want to write my view on last eps but i can't bring myself to do that just yet..
