i’m convinced these two have just finally mastered the art of acting professionally when in their athlete/reporter…
When Na hee do awkwardly asked how Baek yi Jin was doing, he looked speechless then said "ah... Im doing well". When that happened, i felt like they were trying to hide their relationship or something. Not even once i felt the breakup vibe from that scene. We all have watched many kdramas where they have hidden relationships. I got the same vibe from this scene. I could be wrong but at least im gonna watch episode 15 without worrying too much now. Edit: I didn't know about the ending of episode 14 thoo. I only watched that scene from pre Cuts. That was quite sad.. OMG.. Don't know what to think anymore..
I promised myself not to watch pre cuts from ep 14. But couldn't keep my promise and glad I didn't 😭. Glad to know Baek yi jin is still alive at age 33❤️
I keep coming here to see new theories, etc.. desperately waiting till Saturday. hope we will get a strong clue about the ending in the next 2 episodes. What are we all gonna do if this have a sad ending? 😭 I'll definitely re-watch this again if they have a happy ending. It feels like i couldn't fully enjoy the drama because of all the stress I'm having about the ending.
Age gap issues are not really about the number in the age gap but about the difference in life stages between…
No point of discussing this if we both not gonna change our opinions. Even though you said "a guy being mature in a relationship doesn't make him a parent" , what you all expect him to do sounds like you want him to act like a parent. Experience in love.. Of course it matters, That experience can help him to have a healthy relationship just like what they have now. His experience doesn't mean he shouldn't be in love or act like a rock towards the girl he loves. Mature one in the relationship can also show his affection and express his feelings in front of the girl he loves. And even if he kissed her back when she kissed her, that maturity won't change. He's still mature and act according to his age. When something happens in the relationship, he'd show his mature side and will be the responsible one. just because he has more experience in that side, doesn't mean he has to keep acting like an old man in the relationship. 19 means she's also an adult. Not a child. If they're both adults and willing to be in a relationship with each other, I don't feel this as an issue at all.
Age gap issues are not really about the number in the age gap but about the difference in life stages between…
I get what you're trying say but im sorry i still can't agree. What he said in the previous episode about teenagers should date teenagers also a part of him trying to act all matured. It doesn't make him a mature man. Just because he has more experience and and being in different stage of life, doesn't mean he has to act like a parent. No matter how much they grow up those things don't change. And also, at this point she's not a high schooler anymore. She's also an adult. Experiences, stages of lives... All these things matters nothing if you're in love. No matter how hard i try to see your point, i can't see that. All i can see is a 23 years old boy who's trying his best to act all matured and responsible fell in love with a 19 years old girl who acts little bit silly. And if you talk about experiences, he doo also have lot of experience. Sometimes she acts silly. But inside she's all matured. She said she had to take care of herself since the childhood and she was all alone all the time. And also she lost her dad at young age and she hardly had anyone to love her as her mom was always so busy. In that sense, i think she has more experience than Baek yi jin. Because he had to go through all of this when he was 21. Until then he had everything he ever wanted. He was loved by both parents, they took care of him, he had his family to rely on, he had friends, he had a sibling. His hard time began when he was 21. He only went through hardships for 2 years. That's nothing compared to what he doo had to go through since she was 13. Then she is not just a silly high schooler with 0 experience. She also been through alot and she also have lot of experience. For me both of them are so young and both of them can be in love with each other and be careless or silly regardless of this whole age gap thing. Everyone can have different opinions. This is mine. :)
I just remembered something. Well this is not a theory. But Baek yi jin is a reporter right? So even if he's not Min Chae's father, she could have still recognized him? According to the story, he should be a well known reporter in the future because that's where the story is leading right now. Like he doo's mother in 90s. So when min chae saw him in the picture or when she heard his name, she could've recalled him even they're not related. But why couldn't she recognize him?? I'm little anxious now. Let's hope im just reading too much into it.
Guys please, don't act like 50 years old man let a 18 year girl to kiss him. Remember yi jin is stil 23 even though he tries to act all matured. Just because he wears a suit and have a job, it doesn't make him an old man. What do you expect him to do? He's also too young. He can't keep acting like a dad. If he's in love, he has all right to be kissed and even kiss the girl he loves. There are so many people in the comment section who talks about this age gap issue. I honestly feel so bad for baek yi jin's character. Why everyone expect him to be responsible and act like an old man? We know what he went through. He was forced to grow up. There's nothing wrong with him being silly and immature. He doesn't have to keep guiding he doo. He can be as careless as hee do. He can act as silly as he doo. IT'S ONLY 4 YEARS GAP FOR GOD SAKE. STOP TREAT HIM LIKE AN OLD MAN.
he can't be dead because Heedo's mom in the first episodes said that she saw Yijin in tv station I thinkanyway,…
Well..everyone can have different opinions. But I'd rather have that kind of ending than a heartbreaking ending. Why only sad endings are realistic? I really don't get that. There are millions and billions of people who have their own happy endings. And as i said before, even if we consider every "happy ending" a fantasy, I'd still choose happy endings. These are dramas. We watch them to enjoy. So it's ok to have fantasies in dramas. Don't we have enough things to go through in real life..? Recently what I've noticed is that they try to make dramas unnecessarily sad to label them as "realistic dramas". Take "now we're breaking up" and "youth of may" for instance. Im not sure if you've seen these shows but if you watch them, you can clearly see that they have sad/open endings and it really was unnecessary with the whole plot of the story. For me, unnecessary sad endings are more unrealistic. And as for Baek Yi Jin, yes mom said she saw him last month but according to some sources what she said was "she visited him" not "she saw him". In that case, "dead" theory could be true as well.
If they kill Baek yi jin's character in the end, I'll definitely go crazy. I have gone through lot of theories about the ending and finally got tired. I definitely want them to be together in the end. But if it's too much to ask, at least let beak yi jin live 😭. BTW i hate the new trend of Korean dramas.lately most Korean dramas have sad or open endings. And they call them "realistic". I just don't get it. Only sad and open endings are considered to be realistic now and happy endings are fantasies. People should come out of that belief. Happy endings can be realistic too. And even it's not, it's ok to have little bit of a fantasy than heartbreaking reality. We already going though the reality in our own lives. That's enough reality we handle every day. For me, Dramas are my method of escaping the reality. I feel like it's not working anymore. Nowadays dramas are even more sadder than the reality.
me before ep 11: At this point I don’t care if they don’t end up together. It’s fine. I’m fine.after ep…
This is so true. I was like that before episode 9.i stopped worrying about the ending. But after episode 9, I'll never be able to handle them not being together in the end.. It's ok if it's unrealistic ending. I don't care.. I just want them a happy ending..😭
According to some people this drama is based on a song called "25 21" by jaurim. It's a beautiful song and very heart breaking. But some said that song is inspired by a true story of that singer. She had a boyfriend and he died at age 27 from overworking. Then she married some other guy and now she has a son who's name is very similar to kim min chae. Let's hope this is all just made up theories from over thinking..
Father said "you were my greatest consolation 10 years ago". What does that mean? What probably happened 10 years ago? I saw somewhere a theory that said, yinjin is adopted. It felt like they were talking about the day he was adopted.
Edit: I didn't know about the ending of episode 14 thoo. I only watched that scene from pre Cuts. That was quite sad.. OMG.. Don't know what to think anymore..
