Tbh I was a bit sceptical about Kenty’s acting at first especially when he’s still in his tsundere persona, but he really got better in the later episodes. His chemistry with Fuka is off the chart and it actually helps me overcome my SL syndrome, still feel sorry for Higuchi though he looks happy doing what he likes. People said the ending was a bit rushed but I think it’s quite satisfying, or maybe I’m just get used to Jdramas ending. Thanks everyone, what a ride, looking forward to watching Kenty and Fuka again as a couple in other dramas or films in the near future. I’m gonna miss the cast and their dazzling visual a a lot.
Yeah it's hilarious to see the diehard Tokyo Revengers fans shitting on this already (as to be expected from anime…
I've read their comments, most of them are so ridiculous like wanting the the casting director to hire Oguri Shun or Yamada Takayuki since both actors had succesfully portrayed the ML's in Crows Zero. Jeez, they don't even know the dynamics of Japan's young actors. But the funniest thing had to be someone who claimed that Oryo wasn't goodlooking enough to be Mikey. God that guy should get his eyes checked.
If someone dares to say again that J actors are ugly, which I saw a lot on twitter, I would recommend them this movie. What a star studded LA. I hope it's worth the hype.
Love the pilot episode. Honestly Fuka still looks so pretty, it's just she's lack confidence, super clumsy and has an outdated style. Eiji suits the SML role and I could already tell I would get a second male lead syndrome. Kenty looks so damn hot, and Sakuma Yui is so gorgeous, I wish I could have her warddrobe. I haven't watched the Korean version so I can't compare, but I hope the remaining episodes are even better.
stopping by just to say that I love Love and Redemption to bits. Tbh I was a little bit reluctant to continue after a couple of the first episodes. The FL was so bland at first but I kept watching and it's now officially become on of my fav xianxias.
When I watched Eternal Love of dream, I thought Su Mo Ye looked like younger version of Dylan Kuo. But damn, it's really him, he looked so much younger than his real age. It's been a long time since the last time I saw him in a series and he doesn't change.
Hi, could anyone please recommend me other wuxia or xianxia series similar to this? It's my first chinese historical dramas after a very long time, and I love it.
As long as her bond & relationship with Irino never changes, I will be happy if she is happy with Wataru.
Kimi to sekai is the zombie drama right? Maybe I'll watch it later since I love Ryoma. Thanks for the recommendation. Btw if you're into crime/police stuff, Cold Case is a must watch, it's really well made and Yoshida Yo-Nagayama Kento tandem is to die for.

what a great insight, thanks. But wow, more than 10 dramas?!
Btw besides Uchikare I also watch Horimiya LA which I love. Other dramas I currently watch are mainly from the last seasons like Cold Case 3. And yass, this season's dramas look so tempting, can't wait to bingewatch Tengoku to Jigoku, Nijiro no Karute, Ore no Ie no hanashi and Kakenai.

tbh Uchikare is the only winter drama I follow so I've watched all the subbed episodes. I normally bingewatch dramas once all the episodes are out. And yes, agree with what you said, epi 6 gives Hikaru-Sora shippers new hope, Sora started to realize that she could trust Irino and feel comfortable around him. Tbh I think Sora still couldn't be herself around Wataru-sensei and I can't feel the sparks or chemistry when they're together. But this is Jdrama, everything may happen. And Aoi/Gon are just too cute, I couldn't care less about Aoi/Souseki, sorry.
