Good Grief

I’m glad I enjoy slow dramas and don’t care about romance. It was this way with flourished peony. Many hated there was no romance until second half and still didn’t liked what they got. To each their own. But this drama is freaking good. Learning bout ink making is actually intersting. I also loved how Li Zhen isn’t a Mudan. She doesn’t seem to be forgiving so far. Which is definitely a plus. I can’t wait till we get to closer waters with more juicy scenes.

Of course there is, but it's slow burn and not the main focus. If you're looking for something with a lot of romance, this may not be for you.

EXTREMELY slow burn. not much romance in here so far. it's mostly focused in ink making, family bonds, and FL. But we will definitely be getting some good romance worth of the amazing slow burn me thinks.

romance isn’t focus here. it’s female centric drama and history of ink making and family. the romance is only sub part. So far even though it’s just starting the chemistry is there. they made it on HS on Weibo today for their onscreen and offscreen chemistry. If you like slow build up romance go for it. if not this might not be the drama for you. unless you love strong female centric dramas. hope this help.
