that scene where she's watching Du Cuique perform her act is exceptional. she is instantly shocked and upset but you see her reactions change as it sinks in, disgust, even contempt.

the drama itself isn't a fantasy at all. the fantasy tag is most likely due to the novel being a rebirth story, but that element doesn't exist in the drama (censorship reasons.) i would consider this as just historical fiction and slice-of-life.

man this show is so good. I cried when they got their freedom and got teary eyed again when they found a house to stay in ❤️❤️❤️ i am really loving their little family. I swear if the parents die I will be so freaking angry. I dont usually get attached to the moms and dad's in these stories but thee fact their own daughter died and they gave this girl a chance to live by rescuing her even knowing their own daughter wouldn't "find peace and be laid to rest" that was so heartfelt and moving and she has made the most of it and done everything she can to give them a better life by teaching them to read and getting them freed and stuff. the story is just so touching ❤️❤️ i love this show is give it a 9/10 so far!
