It really feels like all the brains in the family went into Pheem. His plans might sometimes be cruel, but it’s always minimal damage. Risa as someone already said doesn’t have smart plans, they’re all based on maximum violence. Chet is dumb af, I cannot handle this level of dumb. Watching Park being beaten up in a pulp by the dad for the 10th time is annoying, Chet is really useless. Who says he’s treating Park good and protects him are absolutely blind imo. All that he does is give him suicidal missions like to shoot Pheem in a kids playground (that absolutely destroyed my brain, poor kids) or is unable to protect him from the dad. Trash.

Than chose his poison and I agree with his choice. His toxic honey is a snack and smart af. Plus no one forces him to stay this time so if he’s okay with this possessive behavior then it’s not for me to judge lol

I was just joking tbh, but even if talking seriously I don’t think Pheem can be compared to Chet and Risa. They all were born from the same dad, yet Pheem was a literal angel in childhood who they abused. Does it make everything Pheem does okay just bc he was avenging his mom? No, but at least we have a valid reasoning for his actions and he can be understood, since he’s punishing bad people who law forces can’t punish. Chet and Risa are just plain thirsty for money and power assholes.

Than doesn’t seem to me as a person who can’t take actions for his life decisions. The most interesting and funny part of his character is that he knows very well that Pheem is a manipulator and a killer, yet decided to date him anyways voluntarily. It’s not a regular victim situation also, otherwise it all would be boring imo

No offense to Chet fans, but man has zero brain cells, his whole life depends on Park, if he treated him badly, he would be already overdosed and dead and he knows it. He has zero plans, zero skills, all he does is gets high and yells, I honestly do not know what Park is even there for except for wiping his ass (unless he’s into toddlers). Making him kill innocent ppl so he wouldn’t get his own hands dirty is not in any way a better treatment, but to each their own I think.

Pheem does everything illegal himself, he never got Than close to this shit. And he makes him baths and cook for him. Chet is out 🤣

I wouldn’t call SSY a food. He’s more of a food, water, air and basically his whole life for him, he’s like super extra. Yandere with capital everything lol But it’s true that he adores challenge, he def needs it. there were many points at times where everything can be much easier and faster but then it wouldn’t be fun and satisfying for him

Yeah he does force himself on him in the novel and he can. he does struggle tho bc he also wants to please SSY but also wants to be on top of him so it’s all a mix of wild emotions from him always.

I think one quote from him that will help you understand him better is “life is a game”. His main goal is ofc SSY’s being utterly and fully his, but he likes to play and win, so things he do are not the “all the right steps for the goal”, he likes the process and obstacles and creating the fun for himself. He is truly a lunatic and the more extreme emotions he gets the more satisfying it is for him, but only if he gets what he wants at the end.

So obviously for normal ppl who just seek the easy ways to reach their goals it’s not possible to understand tf he’s doing lol Bc usually the answer is bc he wanted to and in his head there’s already some epic theatrical performance and partially why he’s so obsessed with SSY is bc he’s a huge challenge

Shen Wei is from Guardian, not The Untamed. But about MLC yes, it was the poison same as with snow beetles in Nirvana in Fire, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s was very very easy to recognise them all bc of all the obvious things they did lol

I agree thar he has major pride problems, but I still think it’s mainly bc pseudo fragile omega Hua Yong when he’s at home with him is just way too believable. Plus I mean there wasn’t even one time when you’d think “oh something is not adding up” so far. He’s always where he needs to be.

I just think that many confuse the concept of main characters and main couples. Two main couples are a rare thing. Like Heart Killers for example. In this case you can have equal split overall but there are still gonna be episodes that are focused more on one couple then the next on the other. But most of the time it’s the situation when there are four main characters but one couple is main and one is side, like with Kiseki and Revenged Love for example. Here it’s same I think. There are four main characters but one main couple. The other is a side one. And side one can’t equally split time with the main. And it’s highly unlikely that a side couple can switch to main unless it’s already another series where they become the main leads. Which is also rare.

I want to give Hua Yong all the extra points for actually so far being pretty good with hiding his identity. Bc usually in every novel or drama when they’re trying to “hide” it I’m like “How he doesn’t get it???!”

I just remember with Shen Wei when he tried to hide that he’s the Black Cloak he was like “yeah the professor me just needs to go to the toilet..” *5 secs later* “black cloak is here to help, your professor fell, he’s gonna come back as soon as I’m finished here” 🤣

Li Xiangyi who didn’t even change his second name was just lucky Fang Duobing is not sharp enough with “wow you look just like my teacher’s portrait”.

But here for the first time I don’t even blame Sheng Shaoyou bc first no one would guess this plushy pink cloud could be that. And second bc his timing is always great. It really does seem like he’s just at home cooking. Texts are always at the right time. Actors are all in the right places LOL Shen Wen Lang also acts his role well in all of this. I actually understand why that would be a super shocking reveal for him. He’s like super good at masking it. And that is impressive to me considering the fact that he’s actually very unstable when it comes to SSY lolz

Also as a person who graduated in being obsessed with secondary couples like Chen Yi & Ai Di and recently Chengyu & Xiaoshuai, I must say that it’s absolutely illogical and odd imo to complain about main couple getting more screen time. It is as illogical as seeing the tag “drama” and then being upset bc you got a sad ending. Like what exactly do you expect? 💀 I honestly never once complained when I myself picked a secondary couple as my fav, I always just blame myself for that lol Like ok sometimes it happens, rarely, but it does. it’s ok. You still gotta understand that main remains the main.

In this series it’s not the case for me, cause I’m obsessed with psycho plots and I love both so far (main more tho for now), but if at the end I enjoy second couple more for some reason I’m gonna be ok no matter what screen time they get, as long as I enjoy them tbh. And although I’m guessing that some episodes are gonna be mostly focused on Gao and Shen too, it’s pretty obvious from the credits who its leaning towards so you can only blame yourself for your expectations, I’m just saying lol

Being pretty unbiased for now BOTH couples are just going in circles lying to eo about the same things each time. Hua hides that he’s enigma, Gao that he’s omega. So what reveal you’re more excited for is just your personal taste preference, it’s not that deep. Objectively so far no one is moving, which is normal for the build up. It’s definitely not the time yet. The hit is gonna feel different when they feel like they’re at home and in comfort zone with them.

Also some gotta once and for all understand in all these shows with several couples no one owes you anything. You like what you like, it doesn’t mean that someone is gonna suddenly make it only about your faves immediately after you picked them. So calm your titties and dingdons already. Each multicouple show it’s same thing fr. Enjoy your part. If it’s not there, then sit and wait for the next time. It’s simple as that.

And pls understand already that nobody is gonna split equally anything. If we’re gonna be constantly watching pieces of both every second jumping from one to another, you wouldn’t be able to even focus your emotions on either, it’s gonna be chaos. If you can’t handle anything that is not split like LITA cleanly in half, then just wait till the whole series end, then watch if you can’t handle the disappointment of “my faves are not here this week”.

Hua Yong being a color of a China flag on its own is already entertaining enough, but their friendship with Shen Wen Lang is sending me with their phone talks and sending eo fucks through the hospital windows 😂 “You can cook?! Are you trying to poison someone?” I’m dying bc of these two each episode lol
