Move to Heaven was very well done, but darker than Taxi Driver because of the subject matter (dealing with the deaths of individuals). It's focus is to show respect and the preciousness of each person, which Lee Je Hoon's character and his nephew discover along the way. Because of its thoughtful and serious tone, I wouldn't recommend it for when you're feeling depressed, but it is good if you're up for a good drama. It is very similar to Oh No! Here Comes Trouble and If Only I told You a Million Times.

I'm really interested in watching some of these Satoh Takeru dramas or movies, but the majority don't have places to watch (aside from a few on netflix and viki). does anyone know where a good and legal place is that has Japanese dramas with English subtitles? It seems like a tricky genre to be a fan of.

I'm watching to see if this comes to Theatres in the US. At least it is on the wellGousa website, so even if not in movie theaters it should come to the US at some point through them. I loved the first one so I'm really excited to see the conclusion!

Can someone tell me which episodes the child actor and Lee Jae Wook are in? I watched episode 1 but I think this show's not for me. However I wanted to see those two actors. Also, is there a plot progression between actors or is it starting from square one each time?

Hoping there will be a US release in theatres like last time, but I haven't seen news of it yet. Maybe it will be a little delayed. I already own Part 1 on DVD.

New Drama alert! For those of you who have poured over the recommended list and tried many of them to find something similar to this, I recommend Miraculous Brothers from 2022. I wrote more in the recommended list but in short, it contains the similar aspects of two brothers separated for many years due to a traumatic event in the past, and the police procedural/detectives solving the mystery of interconnected murders relating to that past events. I thought it was well-balanced between the relationships of the characters and trying to bring the bad guys to justice, and especially with the conflict of what the brothers should do in the present. And it had a satisfying ending, so I highly recommend.

If you liked this drama, try Hello Monster, which also involves two brothers with trauma in the past who have been separated for years.

Oh I hope so! They definitely left the idea that they want to do a second season.

I'm super excited to see Lee Jae Wook in another role! Interestingly, I just finished My Journey to You and the lead in that reminded me a bit of Jang Uk in Alchemy of Souls.

For me, Lee Jong Suk is the king of great dramas, I've enjoyed every single one of his dramas that I've seen! That's a huge accomplishment as actors can't always choose their roles in their career. And his are varied in subject matter and genre. The only one I haven't seen is Hymn of Death.

I really want to start watching this now, but I have a question: does Part 1 end with a cliffhanger or is it okay to watch just Part 1 and feel like I got something out of it alone?

I gave in and went back to LLTG because it was so high quality, and now I'm enjoying it much more, once she gets along with her cousin. The main draw is how intelligent the FL is and the general's interest in her.

Ah, I just started that last week! Since it was recommended. Definately high quality and I'm sure I'll watch the full thing, but I felt like I was watching a soap opera with all the ugly family dynamics. I was like "wait, I'm not here to watch this, I'm here to see the two main leads meet!"

That one was pretty good, since I liked the main character. It did have a lot of the strict court and social dynamics that we see in Story of Kunning Palace.
