I feel exactly like you. The K2 is my top drama and I really enjoy the action, the thrills, but also the fantasy element to the drama, like you could really enjoy the villains and the danger without getting anxiety. The Worst of Evil made me anxious every episode! But I am glad Ji Chang Wook wanted to do action and he was totally convincing as this character.

Huge K2 fan here as well! I really enjoy seeing Ji Chang Wook in those intense emotional scenes.

Very true! Much more violent than I prefer, I watched it for Ji Chang Wook.

My thoughts on the first episode (spoilers).

Wow Park Bo Gum is brave. It seems like a very intimidating start, but the people around him are very friendly. I like how Park Myung Soo is so brash and open about his dislikes, but also his situation seems quite intimidating as well. It's neat to see how he and the "wife" start to default to English just because using a phone translator is such a hassal. He shows off his English skills, and I'm sure if I was in the same situation my German would come back in a hurry.

Very much looking forward to Ji Chang Wook's episdoes as well.

I'm super excited he's in it as well as Park Bo Gum! Can't wait to see him as a farmer.

I'm enjoying how well the story balances between the kids and parents. It takes a unique twist that rather than having only orphans as the main characters they have a parent involved, and are main characters as well. Though it's way more violent than I like (waaaay more violent), I do appreciate that when people are trying to kill each other they make strategic decisions in a fight, unlike in Marvel no one seems to know how to land a killing blow against an enemy. I would enjoy a PG-13 version which could be more enjoyable and lighter in tone with all the same plot, but oh well.

I've been checking the internet too because I really want to watch it at the same time as everyone! All I found was an earlier article saying it would be on Disney+ internationally, so I'm hopeful it will eventually come out here. I remember when the Impossible Heir came out in SK, it was scheduled to start two weeks later in the US. But so far no official notice of the start date.

Checking back to see if he's written anything new since I'm watching the K2 for the fourth time. Also liked the Gang Doctor (Yong Pal), haven't tried Reset yet. Big Issue I started watching, and I should go back to that.

Definitely. I just saw the Fox Spirit Matchmaker trailer with subs so I understand a bit more about the story and it's way more interesting now. Hoping it will come out this year as well.

Me too, since I just watched the trailer with English subs so the trailer makes a lot more sense to me. But I wish it would come out as soon a possible!

Zeng Shunxi mentioned that when he read the script of Mysterious Lotus Casebook he wanted to do it because Fan Duobing reminded him of one of his previous characters. Does anyone remember if he said it was like Wu Xie (from Ultimate Note) or like Wuji from Heavenly Sword & Dragon Slaying sabre? At the time I hadn't watched either of the shows, and now that I've started Ultimate Note, and already watched HWDSS, I feel like he could have been referring to either of them. But I'm leaning toward Wu Xie a little more because Wu Xie seems loyal to his friends but a little clueless about things, like Fan Duobing. :)
