Finally finished this one. It is a cute light-hearted, butterfly in the tummy, drama. Enjoyed it.

Ep.18 had me beaming with smiles and clapping for our FL. That moment when her background didn’t really matter and she shone like a bright star 🌟. This series gets better with each episode.

Yeah, I’m aware of this dynamics. I’m just mulling over the reason for 2nd brother’s hate towards the FL.

I do agree. Hopefully power and control is the only driving force for her. Let’s see how it plays out.

I understand this breakdown. But this lady wants to ruin the FL. Even bringing up the idea that the FL could have been soiled by her kidnappers. She also was quite upset when the Matriarch didn’t pursue the matter further.
Is not only that she after control, she also wants to ruin her entirely. That’s next level evil.

I guess that could be part of it too.

I understand the family politics. But her disdain was way before marriage. See previous scenes.

What of the 4th son’s wife. The 4th son is a legitimate son and even favoured most by their mum. In fact the aggression didn’t start after they married. She’s just more obvious with it after the marriage.

If it’s an inheritance issue, the 4th brother (a legitimate heir) already has a son too, and she doesn’t seem to plot against those ones. Her husband is from a concubine but raised by the ML’s mother. ML’s mother had the 3rd, 4th and I think 5th brothers by herself.
I am sure they will reveal the reason later. Because she will plot more boldly.

But she already didn’t like her when she found out ML liked her. This was even before marriage or anything.

I mean what’s the reason for hating FL? Even before ML married her. She seems not to want any woman around ML.

The Chen’s 2nd brother’s wife is another venomous snake. I used to think it’s because she liked the 3rd brother (ML), but who knows. I’m even suspecting she may have had something to do with the death of ML’s first wife.

It’s like a weird loop. Especially since the courts too are corrupt. So, where does he plan to get justice for all the victims of his investigations.
It makes the drama not move forward.

The lead is 48 episodes

I waited until they returned to 2 episodes per day to catch up with this, and well, it was worth the wait. 😊

Me too, I would like to know. Didn’t see her listed either.

This show is so good. I was crying so much in Ep.14. All the casts so far are amazing.

Ok, this was interesting, but it was dragged unnecessarily. Maybe to accommodate for season 2, but I wanted some progress with the story.
