yeah the art is very dated looking compared to modern manga styles...everyone looks a little weird in Hana Yori Dango manga and anime.

definitely agree with your comments! That’s totally why I wanted to mention her. She's so inspiring! For her to be able to break through the industry standard and book jobs her talent really speaks for itself. I hope we get to see her in something that won't portray her as the ‘non-attractive’ character in the eyes of the other characters. I luv her quirky interesting look, because she stands out from the other actresses.

I find both annoying in their own respective ways. I like the idea of the character vs character but I feel like no one is a winner here. I dropped Shine part way through because of scripting and male lead's annoying laugh, his character did not seem well planned out. SHR is a little easier to watch, but all the princes are annoying in their poor decision making lol.

the final impersonation by cosplay teacher in the last ep was...well epic.

omg he sure is, I keep waiting to hear him crack a comment about the quality of something in this. The episode writers should put one in just for fun!

I didn't like the leads interactions and performances in the first couple episodes, but they did tone it down by ep 4 and it got a little better

Let's Eat is so charming and funny, luv all the characters in that one. I'd rate it higher and more enjoyable than Drinking Solo. Both are light and fun.

I've been looking forward to reading this article. I am also enjoying how light and fun Drinking Solo is. My fav character is the impersonations and cosplaying teacher!!

ooh that sounds like a cool idea! retro dramas have some really sweet characters and amusing writing
