I said people leaving comments on MDL have ZERO impact on the drama or on the people who make it/act in it. I did NOT say you watching it/not watching it on a paid platform had no impact.

I agree with you about VIU tho. It's the worst streaming platform I've used. Dumped it after a month.

Yep. I notice a lot of MDL users are very narrow-minded when it comes to anything even slightly different.

Must be a rom com, must be centered on people under 30 and must not be too "Korean-humor centric" (meaning if THEY think what Koreans think is funny is "offensive", depending on what is so-called "offensive" for the woke crowd this month). If it does not feature all these, the drama is "bad". :)

Sad to have that dull of a taste, IMO.

Honestly he's a very average looking Asian guy. Somebody you wouldn't even look at twice if he wasn't an actor.

I'm just so glad that all the petty people bitching on here about the characters, people who don't seem to understand anything about human relationships, have ZERO impact on the drama, its success, the actors or the crew. It's very successful in Korea and that's the only thing that matters to the people who made it. So keep bitching but you might as well realize NOBODY who matters cares. :)

There were so many funny scenes in Episode 9 including that one. I loved the scene where she accuses her dad of having another woman :)

My fave in a long time. Like you said well-written and with amazing characters. Love everything about it and shocked this seems to be the screenwriter's first produced script!?

I don't understand the negativity towards this, unless it's from people who don't understand how complicated human relationships can be? I love everything about this drama. Everything.

I'm sticking with it for now altho I found it more boring than not in first two episodes. Hopefully pacing will improve as story seems interesting.

Good Lord that was a boring final episode. So boring, by the time he finally proposed I didn't even care. Glad it's over. Lee Junho deserved a better script. They both did.

By Episode 10 I despised her. She never learned, was weak as wet paper, and whiny beyond belief. By the time it ended I liked the horrible husband more than I liked her :)

That last episode made me drop it from an 8 rating to a 2. Worst writing I've seen in a K drama in a long time. Hugely disappointing. Particularly as Dr. Roy was one of the main characters and then just "disappeared" before the drama ended. I'll be avoiding anything written by the same screenwriter if that's the level of writing they can produce.

Last week's two episodes were so boring I kept getting up to get coffee, go to the bathroom. Ep 15 was even worse.

There isn't enough plot for 16 episodes. Should have been wrapped up at Ep 12 instead of dragging it out with stupid plot point after stupid plot point. So disappointed. Loved this show up until they went to Thailand. Now I'll be happy when it's over.

I'm also tired of Korean screenwriters doing this. Coming up with a story that isn't deep enough to fill 16 episodes, and so forcing them to add in a ton of tropes just for extra material. Shows a lack of talent.

I mean, if you can't write a drama that is solid in every episode, then don't bother, IMO, as hours of it just waste the audience's time.

Oh please. So she decides to stay in the tourist hotel which is an overnight drive from KTL and leave him to run the main hotel. Stupidest plot point yet, and there have been some dumb ones.

Both Jun Ho and Yoona are amazing in it. Sad they didn't get a better written script for the last four episodes or so as they are still killing it with their performances.

Last few episodes especially have been so draggy. Will be happy when it ends tomorrow.

Acting, IMO, is horrible. It's the main reason I dropped it. Couldn't stand either of the leads.
