from 15 to 16 to 18 now.. they r dragging it now.. why giving the main story now? geez~
The extra episodes is pretty common in Tdramas...I think they are often filmed close the actual air date, the script is never fully completed at the start, so there is this issue with trying to tie up the details... the show just keeps going until they can work it all out.
The main concern I have is not the plot of cast, but how well the script is written. I agree the story sounds a bit out there but cast makes me hopeful, plus one of the two directors is Jung Dae Yoon his last two dramas were W and She Was Pretty.
Yeah it's basically Comedy. I think the Comedy and Romance tag are missing because this is clearly Romantic/Comedy/…
I appreciate your insight. Thank you. I was looking for something to watch on WED and TH now that While You Were Sleeping finished. I love the cast, especially Yeon Woo Jin. I was hesitating but I think I will take the plunge.

It is playing out as a rom-com too Hadiasso? I saw Viki list it that way but no other place. I couldn't fully tell from the trailer if it was a part of the storyline. I thought i would wait it out a few weeks to see if it really does develop into one.
I've only watched 1,5 episodes so far... but this seems like a Korean version of https://mydramalist.com/19702-nigeru-wa-haji-da-ga-yaku-ni-tatsu…
I have seen the J-drama in full and all of the aired episodes of BTIMFL. The scripts are "completely" different, other than it being a contract marriage and the age of the lead being 29.
When dramas are related to one another in someway, it is also usually mentioned at the top of the page under the description. I also find the the Korean version of Wikipedia will have pretty solid info along these lines. I wouldn't trust Dramawiki 100% for correct information. They be right but the info is usually gathered by random websites. It can be a bit like the game of telephone. Anyway, from everything I have read and what I know about the scriptwriters they are not connected, even if there is a bit of a similar premise in how the leads form a relationship to meet a need.
The script and cast had potential to make this drama an enjoyable experience but tacky innuendos is only insults the audiences intelligence. There is no reason to use cheap humor to get ratings unless you have no confidence in your ability to write and produce. OCN needs to step up its game, if it wants to make noteworthy ROM-COM's in the future.
It's interesting that it was mentioned on the same day that While You Were Sleeping aired it's last episode...It could be a resent brake up, but on the other hand timing is important in the entertainment industry. They wouldn't mention a breakup as he is leaving for his military service or just after or she might look unsupportive and tarnish her image. If they broke up before or during her filming, there could be a fear it would harm ratings. That is just speculation... anyway I hope they will live happily no matter if it is together or apart.
It was always 12 episodes. The Korean networks are starting to make dramas with only 8-12 episodes, just like…
Recently, the TV networks in Korea began to create and introduce shorter kdrama, compared to the usual 16-20 episode standard. One of the first this year was "1% of Something" (16 - 30 min episodes - 8 hours total) and a few months back "The Circle: Two Worlds Connected" (12 episodes -12 hours total), The Package (12 Episodes -12 hours total). There are others, this is just three of them.
It's extremely common in Japan for dramas to be 8-12 episodes. I read recently the Korean networks were curious how it well it would there. I am not suggesting all dramas in the future will be this short, just that there is a move to bring more stories to the screen with less air time.
am i the only one who thinks the lee jong suk's acting while he was crying for mr. choi seems off? it is not believable…
I understand the intention...but there just wasn't enough development in their mentor/mentee relationship on screen to understand such a dramatic expression of emotion.

Part of the issue is that a lot of sites are run by "fans" and information is filled in by what people find online, including MDL. Since 16-20 has been the the norm, people who don't speak Korean gather info from other Fan run sites for their own pages. I think there is a lot of presumption happening and people are simply filling in the number of episodes before looking to the source for the correct information. DramaFever has had 12 ep since they started airing it. They don't use fans or viewers but professionals to update their site directly from the network, not to say mistakes and changes can't happen. I would think they would have a clear knowledge since they are legally buying the material and managing their website.

AjhennieArol.... It says 20 episodes, but this is an error. If you go down further on the side bar of Wiki it says the start date is Oct. 13- Nov 18th. Then if you scroll down to the ratings chart it only lists 12 weeks. The chart has only had 12 weeks on it since the week it aired.

The end is depressing.
