It was always 12 episodes. The Korean networks are starting to make dramas with only 8-12 episodes, just like…
GBC was never cut Ajhennie, the drama was always 12 episodes.
It was mistakenly posted as 16 here, but the script was only 12 long from the start. It was posted as 12 episodes on several licensed drama websites and wikipedia before it even aired.

It's incorrect. I saw it listed as 12 episodes on wikipedia (which is usually the most current and correct) and a few other drama spots before it aired.

ONC doesn't have to follow the same ethics rules required of them as a national tv network. It's basically a "paid"…
KBS is public broadcasting.
MBC, SBS are commercial broadcasting channels
You will find stronger regulations when dramas are made by these networks.

Cable channels have a lot more freedom, some of the big ones who produce dramas are:
TVN, ONC and JTBC

Here is a full list of networks:

You must have seen not much Kdramas, if it comes to bold scenes. Or you just watching those "innocent" ones! :DAnd…
The term "drama or dramas" used more often when a program is mentioned in news articles. In general conversation... More often you will hear people will say "I love crime dramas" , "My favorite drama at the moment is...." where someone saying "I'm going to watch my (or a) drama." is less common.

It is also important to keep in mind...America is big. The popular words used in daily conversation can change depending on what region of the country you live in.

Based on those posts by goodsoup, the novel is quite a bit different. I have a feeling this is going to be a sad…
I just went back through Good Soups previous posts. I missed a few the first time... Yes, the book is a good deal different. I am still hoping for a happy ending. I keep thinking back to the part where HS says she wants Good Soup to have a happy ending, its something she fights the CEO on. She wants it for herself but she also knows that is what makes the public happy too. I am hoping the scriptwriter will want it for TOL.

We have "dramas" in the US, they are more often called "shows", but they can also be called dramas.
Our dramas are generally not just a single season...They more often if they do well they can run for years, with a consistent number of episodes each season.

I could do without the sloppy cheap humor, its reducing the appeal....The story is cute, it has potential.

Can anyone tell me if they think this drama is worth watching? After the fourth or fifth episode I put it on hold.…
I'd skip it for now. It's floundering to remain interesting, there was a big ratings drop in Korea this week. There are still 6 episodes to go.

I did too, but I'll go back later and review. I love Soompi forum.

The key events in the book have not happened yet.... If they do split and he decides to return to Paris and if she gets his letter post the tragic event that follows their separation... I think we will have to wait and see when we see ep 20...the writer could change it before we get to that point. The public usually prefers a happy ending, so she may end up being gracious.

For me this drama is getting to exhausting... If it stays on it's current path...I may wait until the end and then catch some of the key parts to see how it is all settled but that is about it.

I'll share a post in a discussion on Soompi's forum regarding the book. If you have not joined it yet I definitely recommend doing so, the discussions are usually pretty indepth.

Anyway, the topic of the book is mentioned on this page. You'll have to scroll down a bit to find a post by GoodSoup. Then look for the 3rd and 4th comment on the post to oow Toocute and netizendbk.

I'm basically skipping through this drama just to know how this plays out. The book it's based on is pretty sad, I'm really hoping the ending is revised for the sake of the views.

I think the writer for this drama gives off a very powerful & great start, so we expect something more is going…
It's based on a book. The script is being written as it airs from my understanding.

At the 50% point... I'm not in LOVE with this drama but I don't hate it either. I find interesting enough to stick with it but I'm not thinking about it all week. The script is ordinary, the cast is lacking some chemistry.... It's a one time watch for me.

On a side note: I also agree with those who are disturbed by how the father treats his son. This isn't the first time I have seen extremely abusive treatment from a "rich" father toward his son. What makes it worse is that everyone just stands around and accepts it as normal. I can see why people have decided dropped it, but I am still hoping that script writers deal with the topic justly before the end.
