Disagree. He IS one of the ML's & IMO is THE weakest link. His crappy acting paired against the others make him look absolutely terrible. He is in over his head. Hell, that little boy that they were trying to save with the bells on his wrist is 15 & I could FEEL the intensity rolling off of him for the 3 minutes he was on the screen.
Let's forget about the fact that I dislike the character immensely but it took me 2-3 episodes to nail down my annoyance with him was the actor himself. To me, he sounds & acts like he is memorizing & reading the lines as if to rehearse. Unlike others, I see total vacancy in his eyes & I hear blah, blah, blah come out of his mouth. I don't FEEL his words or his emotions I just hear someone saying what he has to to get to the next scene.
IMO, the people carrying this show is Pavel, Nut, Sailub, & Garfield.

Day is selfish & grew not one fuckin bit in those 3 years. Putting every & all blame on Mhok is absolute childish bullshit. I dare say that Day is undeserving of anything from Mhok & Mhok should have gotten on that plane & never looked back. He has done himself a disservice.
I truly spent half of this episode angry & try as I might, I couldn't shake the resentment I felt towards Day & it saddens me.
The last 2 episodes really had me reeling with disappointment.

Yes they are in their 30's & I'm not saying that a lighthearted romcom can't be done at their age. I'm saying a college themed storyline where said 30+ actors are still dependent on their elders for their living is something that they've already done, silly sound effects & childish friends not to be excluded, & that up until Not Me it was ALL they did together. The storyline, IMO, is not poorly executed but maybe just not for THESE ML's. It's almost below them as far as I'm concerned & as I've stated before, I much prefer to see them in roles more of the adult kind. I thought that after Not Me that's where they were headed. They do have the chemistry & the "looks" but it still doesn't change the fact that a shit story line can make or break your career & ship. Let me be clear that I am not hating here...I just think that CC is not for them.
