Cyberwreck is a digital gang… Fake news is not content, it's a crime!
Attorney Ko Sang-rok characterized this incident as "organized cybercrime and digital gang violence." He said, "Cyberwreck crimes are so systematic that they rival the organized crime of the digital age, and they cause serious social harm." He added, "Instead of resorting to physical violence, they instill fear by threatening the reputations of celebrities and exhaust those who refute them by countering them with legal proceedings and malicious framing."
He continued, "Fake news is not content, it's a crime. Now, society as a whole must confront and decisively control cyber gang violence." He added, "This incident goes beyond a simple dispute; it is a crime that causes serious harm to our society and raises important questions about how human rights are handled."
How come the whole conversation became about something that happened years ago? Why is no one talking about who…
#OneAmongBillions Because the thirst for hatred is much greater than the desire for truth or real empathy for someone (Sae Ron in this situation, who tried to commit suicide countless times before succeeding). Because no one cares about Kim Sae Ron, they're more focused on how to destroy another Korean artis, pushing him to the brink of depression, just like they did with KSR back in the day, when they practically cut off her ability to earn a living.
I keep seeing people claim things like “he lied twice,” “he dated her as a minor,” and “she visited him during military leave”, but none of that has ever been verified.
For the record: 1. Kim Soo Hyun’s agency confirmed they dated from 2019–2020, after she became an adult. 2. There’s no verified proof of any relationship before that. 3. Most of the extra “details” floating around came from unverified online rumors, not any reliable media.
It’s always good to check facts before treating gossip as truth, especially when reputations are involved!
Sometimes I think about Kim Soo Hyun, and I realize how hard it must be for him, having to carry the weight of things he didn’t cause, fixing what others have carelessly broken. It can’t be easy to stay calm and graceful when people spill things all around you without a hint of conscience.
Oh, and what I've seen people capable of lately, wow, truly astonishing. The immense amount of unfounded hatred, the burning passion to hunt someone down and tear them apart at any cost... it's practically a piece of sh....ART, which those who make the human species inferior to worms hang around their necks. One thing’s absolutely certain: people who thrive on hate? Oh, they’re just doing "divine" work. Definitely not fulfilling their father’s will; the devil must be so proud of his little overachievers. Every word they spit, every venom-laced gesture, just radiates how “holy” and “pure” they are inside. Truly touching.

It’s heartbreaking to see how easily lies can destroy a person’s life while the truth struggles to be heard. The cruelty, the indifference, and the months of unchecked slander show how dangerous cybercrime has become. At the same time, I can’t help but admire Kim Soo Hyun's courage to keep standing for truth despite all the pain. I hope this case becomes a real turning point, for justice, and for all of us.

Excellent analysis! I had NOT noticed the subliminal accents this user was using. But yes, they are there. You just have to know how to recognize them.

Reading this statement leaves me with such a heavy heart. It’s painful to see how a person’s life and reputation can be destroyed so easily by fabrications and relentless attacks, while the truth struggles to be heard. What strikes me most is the cruelty of it all, the way lies were crafted so deliberately, the way they were spread without accountability, and the way society, for months, allowed the slander to snowball. I feel anger at the injustice, sorrow for the suffering of the victim (Kim Soo Hyun) and his family, and frustration that common sense was ignored while malicious narratives were given power!!! It’s devastating to think of the emotional toll this must have taken, being isolated, ridiculed, and hunted in the public eye, while he still trying to protect others from collateral harm.
There’s also a deep sense of fear here, fear of what unchecked cybercrime can do in an age where lies spread faster than truth, where technology can weaponize falsehoods, and where anyone could be the next target. This isn’t just about one person anymore; it’s about what kind of society we are willing to accept!!
But alongside the sadness, there’s admiration for the courage Kim Soo Hyun shown, choosing truth over expediency, choosing respect even in the face of attacks, and continuing to fight through the proper channels. That kind of perseverance deserves recognition, not dismissal!!
Above all, I feel a desperate hope that this case can finally become a turning point, that people will learn to pause before blindly believing, that society will stand against malicious manipulation, and that we can start protecting victims instead of abandoning them.
Extraordinary article!! But it deeply saddened me to read these things expressed in such a coherent way, even though they are things I already knew.
You try so hard to prove that Kim Soo Hyun is guilty of so many things, but you never bother to really think about…
What evidence do you think he brought to court, if you say he never sent those letters? I assure you that those to whom he wrote will admit IN THE COURT that they received those letters and that, in turn, they wrote letters to him.
Do you think that the court is a marketplace, where you go with vague evidence? Do you think his lawyers don't know what real evidence and fabricated evidence mean when they present it in the court? I know it's easy to talk behind the keyboard, but in the witness box, I doubt it's the same.

As you well know, no one wants to lose their career overnight, so I don't understand your claim that someone else should take care of clearing Kim Soo Hyun's name, besides himself, which he does, but he does it in a discreet way, without exposing anyone. Because the time will come when these people will no longer be able to remain in the shadows, because of the defamation lawsuit that Kim Soo Hyun was forced to file against those who caused him this damage.
As someone once wrote, at this point, both the evidence and the witnesses have an obligation to keep their story for the court.
What he wrote to KSR is revealed because her family has already revealed it and therefore is no longer protected evidence for the public. All the other letters that were SENT, not as you interpret them as not being sent, ARE already as evidence in court as proof..
I'm not a legal expert, but I do know that when a trial is underway, evidence is not released until the case is finalized.

Why would someone, voluntarily, in the middle of a scandal, come forward and say: "hey guys, I received letters from him while he was in the army"? Is this your scenario that guides you that KSH is a liar? The claim that KSH is manipulative, on what basis do you say that? In no scandal, regardless of whether the accused artist is at fault for something or not, no other artist voluntarily wants to be associated with that artist. However, the people who received letters from him, including his then-girlfriend, will be summoned as witnesses in the defamation lawsuit field by Kim Soo Hyun.
