Meanwhile said girlfriend and people he wtote letters to never come forwards and state "those are the documents…
You try so hard to prove that Kim Soo Hyun is guilty of so many things, but you never bother to really think about the many things that have happened since this scandal started.

Not acknowledging a relationship that ended many years ago is legitimate. If someone doesn't want to be put in context with that person, what's the problem? He wasn't obligated to. Years had passed, so it was a closed chapter. You can't put someone on the wall for not acknowledging a relationship that ended many years ago, especially since he explained the context he was in at that moment. Any actor would have reacted the same way in his situation.

I'm sorry to tell you, but everything you wrote is more emotional than rational, which is why you're only looking at one side of the story, which, unfortunately, is the rotten one.

Kim Soo Hyun was a gentleman for not revealing the whole story, because there are other personalities involved, such as his girlfriend at the time, but also KSR's boyfriend from the years when he, KSH, was accused of dating her.

If you don't see the evidence you want to see in this article, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You should know that materials that are evidence in an ongoing trial cannot be disclosed. Privacy or legal strategy could explain that.
At some point, more material will probably appear, which I'm convinced makes much more sense than what we see now.

And, as a personal opinion, I think that the one who initiated writing to him was herself and I also think that she held on to him for years. I formed a vague opinion about what kind of woman she was becoming, "thankful" to her parents who exposed her after her death.

Perhaps if you controlled your impulses and emotions more, you could see the whole picture more clearly and not in a foggy way like you seem to see it now.

In any case, your "analysis" is only one-sided. Garosero "evidence" is legitimate and all of KSH's explanations are lies.

You and many like you assume every inconsistency equal lie, but in high-profile cases, PR missteps, partial truths, or rewording under legal advice often occur. NOT all inconsistencies equal guilt!

I've read all sorts of nonsense in this comment section, and I'm wondering why people haven't updated their information since March and why they haven't bothered to gather some basic facts...?

Psychologically, humans give more weight to negative information than positive. I think we all know this from real life, especially when we consider how widespread gossip is... It's more enjoyable to think something negative about your colleague, boss, or whoever, than to praise that person for the good job they do.
Even when lies are disproven, the association lingers. People often think “Well, maybe it wasn’t true, but smoke doesn’t rise without fire.” This cognitive shortcut means that once a person is tainted, full restoration is very hard.

Lies often stick not because truth is weak, but because human psychology is wired to resist correction when emotions, identity, and group belonging are involved.

While human minds are biased and sticky with rumors, the legal system is supposed to provide structured remedies. From a legal point of view, the focus is not on changing people’s minds but on holding the defamer accountable and repairing the victim’s losses. Yes, the victim in this case is Kim Soo Hyun and not Kim Sae Ron! She is a victim of her own family, public pressure, and her own mental instability.

And yes, both the YouTuber and KSR's family will suffer the consequences of their own lies.

Using the right to free speech in a reckless way can have consequences for both you and me. Because things have gone completely crazy online, there is a good chance that our right to say something will be restricted, precisely because of you, the one who hates and throws stones online in a vile way.
Understand the danger: when freedom is abused to slander others, it loses its meaning and degenerates into chaos. And chaos inevitably leads to the intervention of authorities to suppress it. By making hasty judgments and making reckless accusations, you and many others are paving the way for a future in which free speech will no longer be possible.

Where does all this energy come from to dehumanize someone, even yourself, the one who throws accusations?

Do things that bring you pleasure, that help you build something sustainable, learn a new skill, don't just enjoy someone else's misery online.

How can you be happy that an actor left a company and wish that company would go bankrupt?
How can you write all kinds of insults about a human being, about whom you know absolutely nothing...?...to whom you attribute a fault that there is a VERY high chance that nothing is true?

You are completely dehumanized. I don't care that you post as a user. What you write, you write either from the excess of your heart (that's all you carry in your heart: hatred, no matter where and to whom you direct it), or from mockery, because u are a just worthless person in this world.

I really don't understand how you can keep writing nonsense, about an actor, about a human being, about people's workplaces and so on...?

Analyzing Kim Soo Hyun’s conduct from a legal perspective, it can be said that he has maintained an admirable…
Thank you for such clear explanations. I think it is very important to understand the difference between a small exaggeration and essentially false information, which can cause a lot of injustice. I find it worthy of respect that he, Kim Soo Hyun, chose to be cautious and not take advantage of commercial offers until the end of the procedures; it is a proof of self-control and integrity.

Interesting analysis by lawyer Kho. It brings a lot of clarity and shows how easily things can be distorted when there is ill will. And in online, where reputation can be destroyed so quickly and is difficult to repair, it is natural that the spread of untruths is firmly sanctioned.
I hope that this case will become a lesson for all, to force us (if we are not capable of it as humans) to build at least a more responsible environment, where truth and respect will always be stronger than rumors!!

And for those who think he won't return to the industry...let's be honest, as scary as this industry is, he won't lose anything, but we, who enjoy watching Korean movies and series, will. And I sincerely wish that those who wish him failure to return to acting, meet their own desires and have the same type of experience in their lives.

I also rewatched the series and it captivated me from the first moments. I had forgotten a lot of the action and I was glad I decided to watch it again. It's a wonderful series, in which the actors are phenomenal in the skin of the characters, the action of the film is captivating and the director did an exceptional job.

While other actors who have been dragged into scandals (without being guilty of anything) have truly lost their fans and support, Kim Soo Hyun has gained people who previously didn't know his name and who have now joined his true fans (I am one of them.), who support him and honor him with their actions in his name.

I recently rewatched "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" while in Seoul, and honestly, it felt just as magical as the very first time.
This drama is perfection...beautiful written, visually stunning and brought to life by such extraordinary actors.

Kim Soo Hyun's performance especially struck me again; the depth, the vulnerability, the way he immerses us in the story, it's unforgettable. Yet, it makes me so angry to think about the unfair situation he was dragged into afterward. His talent gave us a masterpiece that allowed so many viewers to escape daily life for a while, and he deserves nothing but appreciation for that.
For me, this series will always be timeless.

I'm glad to see that the page was in good hands and wasn't abandoned. Even the haters don't get kicked off the page, even if it's the same user playing with multiple accounts :))

When I arrived at the Gold Medalist headquarters, it was delightful to find gifts and flowers from Kim Soo Hyun's fans, who were eagerly waiting to touch his heart.

A lot of feelings went through me during my visit to Seoul, especially seeing the LED screens on the buildings where Kim Soo Hyun used to be, now there were other actors...

I'm tired of people's hatred and the violence with which they can throw a person in the trash.
I didn't think that what I see in Korean movies and series really happened, but I found out some absolutely horrifying stories from their real lives.

Kim Soo Hyun, we're still here! We will not abandon you!
.....and even the haters have no peace, thinking about you every day. lmao

I will be in Seoul starting Sunday, and one of the things I will do is go to the Golden Medalist headquarters for Kim Soo Hyun, to show my support for him (just like many others before me have done) and the joy that he is alive.
I intend to write a letter in which I will remember many of you who fought for him here, on MDL, each according to his own strength. You are wonderful people who deserve to be mentioned. ❤️

If you want to send words of support to KSH, write them to me in a private message (by Friday at the latest, so I have time to print them), and I will print them and put them in an envelope (if the message is longer or in the form of a collage, if they are short messages).
You will also have the opportunity to see pictures, which I will post on an Instagram account.

Whatever malice and madness I saw in the users here who wrote all kinds of cr@p, thanks to those who support KSH, I had the opportunity to see that there are also absolutely fantastic people online and not just toxic ones.

A new legislative proposal, informally known as the “Gaseyeon Prevention Law,” has advanced to the standing committee stage of the National Assembly, marking an important step forward in South Korea’s fight against online defamation and harmful media practices.
The bill gained widespread attention after the controversial YouTube channel Garosero Institute (commonly referred to as Gaseyeon) publicly exposed private details about acclaimed actor Kim Soo Hyun, sparking outrage among fans and legal experts. In response, lawmakers introduced the proposal to establish stronger regulations against malicious online content, cyber harassment, and media defamation.

Public support has been significant: the bill collected more than 70,000 signatures, underscoring the demand for stricter measures to protect individuals, particularly public figures, against reputational harm caused by unverified and defamatory content. Following this wave of support, the bill has now been submitted to a subcommittee of the Science, ICT, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee, where it will undergo formal review and debate before moving to the next stage of the legislative process.

The outcome of this legislation holds broader implications, especially in light of Kim Soo Hyun’s ongoing legal battle against false accusations. Kim is the first high-profile celebrity to initiate legal action against a cyber-accuser, setting an important precedent in South Korea’s entertainment industry. If passed, the law could strengthen the legal framework for holding online defamers accountable, offering a safeguard for both celebrities and ordinary citizens targeted by malicious campaigns.

Observers note that the proposal reflects a growing recognition within Korean society of the damage inflicted by unregulated digital platforms and “cyber wreckers,” individuals or groups who spread rumors for influence or profit. The move signals that lawmakers are taking these concerns seriously and may be ready to enforce stronger accountability in the online space.

A principle overlooked in the case of Kim Soo Hyun: presumption of innocence.
In any democratic society, the presumption of innocence is one of the cornerstones of justice. It guarantees that no individual can be treated as guilty before the facts are proven in a court of law. Yet in the case of South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun, this principle seems to have been disregarded with surprising ease.

Although there were no official charges and no concrete evidence linking his name to the alleged crimes, the public and corporate reaction was almost reflexive: media outlets rushed to publish alarming headlines, major brands chose to distance themselves, and streaming platforms opted to suspend or indefinitely delay projects, sending the indirect message that “something must be true.” In this way, without a verdict and without a real investigation, the career and reputation of an actor were placed under suspicion.

The issue goes beyond Kim Soo Hyun’s individual case. It raises an essential question: what value does the presumption of innocence still hold when companies, the media, and entertainment platforms choose self-protection over fairness, even in the absence of evidence? This extreme form of “precaution” reinforces a dangerous mindset: it is better to cut ties quickly, even unjustly, than to risk one’s own image.
Such logic has resulted in what can only be described as a silent condemnation. No one explicitly declared him guilty, yet the hurried decisions conveyed precisely that message. A fundamental right was emptied of its meaning, replaced by reactions dictated by fear and self-interest.

By contrast, the actor’s position has been firm and consistent: he categorically denied the accusations, provided explanations, and initiated legal action against those who defamed him. If he fulfilled his duty to defend himself through legitimate means, then who truly failed in upholding the principle? The actor falsely accused, or the institutions and brands that rushed to judgment, denying him the most basic right of all, the presumption of innocence?

The case of Kim Soo Hyun should be viewed beyond its media dimension. It is a test of credibility for society, for the press, and for companies that publicly claim social responsibility. Because, in the end, the question is not only about one actor, but about how fragile a fundamental principle becomes when truth is eclipsed by panic and commercial interests.

I appreciate your thoughtful words. You've expressed something very important: truth without kindness can become harsh, and kindness without truth can lose depth. Both are needed to preserve our humanity, they help us to resist manipulation and build something lasting.
Justice is not only about what we defend, but how we defend it: with dignity, fairness and compassion.
