I had an impression that the big dude was trying to catch this "lawyer" - maybe to collect debt or to rob him - and he stole lawyers phone. So lawyer was chasing him to get his phone back
One ep per week is better for advertising revenue and the buzz. So I am glad for the drama team, actually
This drama is so fast paced, massive snowballing, so next week I will have to rewatch half of this week to remember where we left off. BUT it is worth it bc this drama is sooo good, soooo packed full of juicy details, there is camera, there is music, there is plot, there is acting, there is constuming, so much to look at and admire and soak in, so

WHY IS RATING ONLY 7.3/10 WHEN IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST 9/10? FOR SEVERAL REASONS: 1. THIS IS NOT A STUPID ROM COM WITH A "CUTE" YOUNG GUY AND SKINSHIP 2. This drama has an affair and two girls dating - yeah in year 2026 some ppl are offended 3, THERE ARE ORGANIZED GANGS OF TROLLS WHO DOWNRATE ANY SUCCESSFUL KDRAMA. I have been carefully monitoring , this is a trend for a long time.
This winter. I started investigating this and found fake accounts downrate even episodes that did NOT air yet. It is probably competitors like cdramas and others
Wow this drama is a masterpiece, how it is filmed and acted is sooooo amazingly funny dark comedy, making amazing satire of all the misfortunes that adults, teens and parents of teens go through!!!!!! This is such a sophisticated jester job.... This is almost 10/10 drama - I say almost bc I want to see the end -
The camera person is a GENIUS. The angles, the scenes... is a comedy in itself!!!! e.g. how ML dances around that bathroom and really catching it with the dark silhouette of his legs, all crooked, against the white bathroom background... OMG! Or how camera shows simultaneous events by going through the walls...better than anyone has done so far
The actors are fantastic. ML, FL are hilariously funny....and dark... How ML scuttles in small fast steps to serve his wife in ep 5 omg... How FL has that dark gang boss voice and presence.... The drama did a lot for LGBT+ cause bc the parents did not care that MS was "the boyfriend". They only cared that MS bertrayed their daughter.

I THINK THIS BC HER BEHAVIOR AFTER ALL THAT CRYING WAS THE SAME AS BEFORE. She went to 1stWife's house and set up shop there and bsed all kinds of garbage. SHE HAS NOT CHANGED AT ALL AND HER SORRY WAS JUST CROCODILE TEARS..... Narcissists live in a delusional world where they uphold a good image of themselves, and they do not allow any self reflection or consideration towards others...
JN's mom is not evil, she does not INTEND to harm others for the sake of harming others so that she would gain something, and she is genuinely delusional about her being "a good person with good intentions" like investment or care for JN.
However, JN's mom is so deeply selfish and so hell bent on having her comfort and perfect image at any cost that she will easily throw others under the bus to keep her comfort, and thus she is indirectly evil.

And out of those few brave ones, only a few make it :( and those few are worthy of being leads in a story.... And that is why we seldom see such stories - the writers do not know about it, the audience does not know about it and does not really want to know about it :) bc it questions their own complacency and justifies their own failure... :) and of course elites dont want us to know bc adults who are children are very easily manipulated. Which ppl in power want an enlightened constituency????? Perhaps only Dalai Lama :)
So - any progress here is a good step forward :) So:
Give them some time to grow up. IF the drama is done well :) ML should be starting to wake up, crawl and eventually stand up, and claim JN by the middle of the drama, ie ep 60, and then we should see him fighting while standing up and win at the end.

hm I beg to differ, A Graceful Liar was trash as all characters were trash It was like watching a mud fight. This drama plot looks unfortunately like A Graceful liar, but so far FL and her love interest are decent ppl. If they turn bad too.... game over.
But there are two great ongoing dailies, Family Register and Our Happy Days and also, KBS weekender Love on the Menu is pretty good, plus they brought in a fantastic ML actor All 3 have interesting, meaningful plot that moves fast, great acting, many good side actors, etc
The title for this drama should be: Non-Stop Miscommunication OR Crying. So boy comes to girl and says: I decided to study abroad, am leaving tomorrow. She says nothing. He gets angry that she is not missing him. Dude!!!! YOU decided to leave her!!!!!
Mother and daughter are incredibly stupid... quarreling although Grandma the evil one set them up.... going places at night, Mother knowing what that Anaconda is capable of. Without victim blaming - those two morons really called all the trouble to themselves. They are just too stupid.
On the cringe and soap scale from 0 to 100, this drama is a solid 99, a cringe bubble bath. OK, this is just the start of the drama... so..... I am going to fast forward until the time jump to present time, and then decide .. it looks like a drop
