Was the affair really the beginning or was it kyung-hee’s need to improve the quality of life for her family…
What you are talking about - the very beginning when they are poor and the house leaks, so she is guilty bc of her desire to be wealthier and then creating a company that did make them wealthier??

OMG how can you make up such an accusation which is completely out of any sense - except of sheer sexism.

So ML is not guilty for cheating but FL is guilty for making the family wealthy???? OMG I had no idea you could even say something trashy like this.

Nah, the director obviously wants to shoot this type of comedic twist, and i think it’s brilliant. Otherwise…
Children?? they are teens and teens are into romance. And CAN be lgbt+. So what's your problem????

ending twist was hilarious yet again hahaha. i hate that i have to wait a week for a single new ep. i'd feel bad…
their relationship is so toxic and codependent, MS is such a selfish jerk and YJ is such a doormat pushover as@kisser and the whole mess actually starts with her lying to her parents.
Both are super toxic and awful and irresponsible.

Well their parents are stupid too. MS's mom is a good enough parent and MS told her, but her mom is a selfish liar too...
and YJ parents are so out of the loop, it is pathetic

This drama is a satire on adult and teen life. Practically EVERYONE adult has cheated and/or been cheated on.…
You lack the IQ to even READ
I never supported polygamy

YOU ARE MAKING UP SLANDER

Which shows your weakness as a human being to even try to be objective

FAREWELL you are wasting time of everyone

AND I AM LEAVING YOUR POST HERE FOR ALL TO SEE WHO YOU ARE -

@SIA24 IS A HARASSING SLANDERER

The drama is sooo masterfully filmed, the details are STUNNING GENIUS AMAZING FUNNY CATCHY, the satire is astonishing
For example:
scene of nervous frantic panicked out of her mind Mrs. Joo but filmed through the crystal chandelier, all sparkly crystal balls... omg... Then Mrs. Joo fiddling with her purse when she bought the wrench.. Or how the ML scuffled away from her after they waved goodbyes to the kids and his wife.... Omg... The Queen in the red dress all cool and calm.... The two lover girls in a very toxic codependent relationship.... And the consequences.

The cameraperson is a GENIUS and the acting and script are AMAZING
This is a fantastic satire

I have to rewatch the entire drama bc it is so packed with details!!!!

Dr Joo is clearly an experienced bad guy bc he tried to trick FL into hugging etc under pretense of caring about her driving - but he never offered to call a driver for her and really help her. He bailed out as soon as she refused his advances. He left her to drive alone while totally out of her mind, and cause an accident. Yeah no wonder Mrs Joo wanted a divorce and found ML attractive

Now I can sign it on the dotted line, it was written by a snowflake who CANNOT READ. I never normalized anything. I just wrote what real life is like and I said practially all adults chatead AND/OR WERE CHEATED ON

SO READ IF YOU WANT A DISCUSSION.
** you are having a whiney monologue **

so I am not interested in hearing ever again from you

FAREWELL do not ever write to me or else I will block you

Yes. But I’m only on episode 2 so there could be a twist
Hey this is not Hwood where they make entire movie or drama about infidelity and even exalt it.

This is a kdrama so the messages and plots will be a lot more sophisticated and meaningful

Kdramas focus on proper messages

and this drama is a satire. It uses infidelity as the starting point to show a failure of one family, and the whole thing is a SATIRE

So the drama is NOT about infidelity but about a complex situation that started with infidelity and led to .... obstruction of evidence, hiding murder, blackmailing, lying, $$$$ manipulations, etc

and clearly the message is DO NOT CHEAT - OR ELSE....

is there infidelity
This drama is a satire on adult and teen life.
Practically EVERYONE adult has cheated and/or been cheated on. In some cultures it is even official with polygamy.
So dont be a snowflake. It is a common problem and everyone has to wrestle with it.

THis drama shows how adults create and solve such problems and so far it does not have any messages except DONT DO IT BC YOU GONNA CREATE A MESS

kdramas are about high moral values and karmic consequences and NEVER ever exalt cheating in any way - adultery, theft, lying, etc . That is the realm of Hwood.

So I am curious, did you continue watching?

Some ppl are put off by the two girls dating - even though there are no detailed scenes
I will answer your question on 3 levels:
(1) For the two girls - NO not even close. There is only a super fast peck on the cheek and holding hands for 1 millisecond while going upstairs, always fully clothed and always in their school uniforms or baggy ugly workout clothing. But they are clearly a couple, wearing matching couple rings, and proclaiming loyalty to each other in words. I would say only a paranoid truly brainless homophobic person would be upset with that.

(2) for the cheating mom and dad - Not really
It is racier than most bc it shows them in the act clearly but without showing details, and it is satirical. This entire drama is done as a satire

(3) Generally:
k and c dramas are not allowed to be too explicit, which means they have more real content and higher quality, the focus is on the story
kdramas are masterful in being classy and sophisticated about implicating

except male gay dramas they tend to be racy

if you want lewd, watch thai and japanese

I am hoping they will decide soon that they want to fight for their relationship but imo it all comes down to…
Ok I agree, I can take the "wrong ppl" plot resolved in 5 eps, in parallel with all other side plots you mentioned moving on forward. Well the side plots are the only moving waters here, the leads' plot is a stale stinky pond...

. They are important side plots and will take a lot more than 5 eps, imo, but as you said, they need to be constantly ongoing .
Gigolo catching Teacher and cleaning up his life might take most of the drama... SexyFunDad and HornyColdCEO is also a road full of peril that might take most of the drama.... GreedySister failing her fake marriage - and her recovering from it - will be over in like ... as many episodes as the "dating wrong ppl" plot... ....... bc Bumpkin needs to be clearly single to help her
I think what you and I are doing now is planning the script :) I can see us in front of a VERY LONG wall playing with positioning of the sheets of paper that represent the plot / scenes

It is my time to hit the bed, so I will talk to you tomorrow! Have a nice .. whatever time it is for you :)

100% agree. So let us pray hard that Script Writer Gods do it right and strike a balance and not make it cringe boring dumb.... but keep the "wrong" ppl in there just enough to make it interesting. The twists are always fun. Except when a bad twist becomes the main plot...and leads to a stallmate / ditch
