Well then you are dumb. I never said I dislike the show. In fact, I said I like this show a LOT!!! I think the acting is great and the story is super useful. I learned a LOT from the characters of this story. I keep analyzing and profiling the characters and learning a LOT!!!!

The story is a toxic story about immature ppl who do toxic things out of ignorance, and it resembles the daily life of so many of us.

@swisshishappy before I said all that, I should have asked you - which "fantasy" did you advocate for? The "fantasy" that is actually real, or the delusion that we tend to call "fantasy"?

You can think you are happy after reading a trashy romance novel, or you can think you are happy after reading a good fairytale.

So.. which kind did you want?

LIKE TALKING TO ANY KID YOUNGER THAN 5 who will tell you that they see this and that and you will be amazed what they see!!!! Like book Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda, or Elizabeth Kubler Ross experiences with dead ppl coming back to say death does not exist, or .... omg there is a lot. Bc beings like .. faires, dwarfs, angels, etc etc etc etc all exist and are HERE NOW.

and then there are serious spiritual lessons disguised as fun fantasy stories, like ... kdrama Goblin, My roommate is a gumiho. etc.... Woman who ran with the wolves stories read by Estela Pensecola - I KNOW I am butchering her name right now :) and good old staple stories like Little Red Riding Hood, Snowhite, Cindirella, anything from Brother's Grimm, Aesop, etc. I highly recommend book "Seven Arrows" by Homeyostas Storm.

People read Karlos Castaneda and think kdrama Head OVer Heals is fun and such other dangerous shit which talks about things one should not explore unless you are under some master and closely supervised, and even then, it is .... DANGEROUS.
Real art is supposed to somehow lead to discover something about the world and yourself. The fantasy is often used as a camo fun cover for super deep metaphorical messages about spiritual growth. ALL FAIRY TALES ARE LIKE THAT - the talk about the inner struggle.
BUT a masterpiece like Cindirella is much better said :)

I am a storyteller and I love fairy tales, and I think they are real, bc I see that they are real - and definitely the messages are super deep etc.
A purely fantasy drama is dangerous as it lets you escape reality in ways that are ... prone to manipulation. I have western cartoons and movies in mind. They are really used for dumbing down the masses. As simple as that

I love fantasy that makes me truly happy. A true story comes from Something Higher and carries messages that will engage the higher parts of our brain and make us See and Understand and Wonder and Think more. For example, masterpiece fairy tales all do that. It makes us happy to engage with that kind of content bc it is deep and satisfies deeper parts of us that are usually starving for attention.
SO YES I am all for that kind of "fantasy". It is not really fantasy :)
A good drama is along those lines.

I dislike "fantasy" that is toxic, that promotes delusion. Like... a woman waits for a guy for 7 years and kisses his fat as@ and depend on his fickle ways and THEN MAGICALLY ONE DAY HE WAKES UP AND SEES HER VALUE AND LOVES HER FOREVER. That is a fantasy that is toxic. Watching that is like reading those cheap romance novels. It is ... trash that leads the reader/viewer into dangerous DELUSIONS.

Well then ... if we need to go to lala land... why not drink soju instead LOL? Just kidding. I prefer chocolate over alcohol :) Just kidding. I dont consume either.
There are different kinds of fantasies. There are those used for mass manipulation and brainwashing, like ... any movie by .... those whose names we will not mention here....
Then there are fun fantasy stories that are not really fantasy and invite ourselves to be more aware of different realities that mesh with our reality... kdramas are full of those... My Love from ANother Star, Legend of Blue Sea, Haunted House, any time travel kdrama, etc etc etc ....
Then there are stories about mystical stuff that looks like fantasy to anyone ordinary but is in fact real life to some people.. . then "ftantasy" stories that are deep spiritual lessons...

There are different kinds of fantasies!!!
And it is very good to engage with the fantasy bc then we exercise the power of our imagination and creativity and that is THE only way to Contact the Unseen.
Bc the Unseen is as Real as what we see. There is really no "fantasy" . everything is real. I love kramas bc they are so comfortable and matter-of-fact with that concept

Exactly. I watch kdramas precisely bc they are creative and hollywood is not...

Indeed, it is amazing how many JHs are out there defending themselves LOL YR was toxically immature too, was a doormat, but she always GAVE to others. JH can be really mean and chop ppl up

EH eating very little, having very little muscle strength, having very little fat on her, her hormonal system is not working the best. She is going to be on the quiet subdued side, not tending to involve herself in heavy physical draining exausting ENERGY SPENDING activity like ... having sex.

it is biological. If she doesnt have enough fat in her, her hormones dont work. If she is too skinny, her body is not ready to mate.

As far as her body is concerned, EH is experiencing FAMINE, so energy must be conserved.

OK, I get what you are saying. I just never saw those signs that he saw her as a woman. A guy in love tries to come close as much as he can. JP was sitting on his fat butt, the most he did is carry her bag with a poker face. That's NOT a guy who sees YR as a woman he wants.

I was on a bus today and watching two teenagers walking, and the dude talking to her, trying to get to her face, trying EVERYTHING he could to get her attention LOL that's a guy in love or a guy hunting, whatever, but JP was never like that to YR, only to JH

Yes he changed as you said. He wasnt willing to risk and be vulnerable, so he solved it by controlling his feelings and eventually totally blocking them LOL EH was his personal ... servant? doormat? bae? .... how to call it... his little oasis? where he strutted like an entitled prince... taking her for granted...
But then... karma kicked his as@ real fast with that wedding and that made some cracks in his armor... crack ... crack ... crack... the armor is falling off....

It still hasnt fallen of but is in the process, he is at least feeling and self reflective to some degree, and it keeps increasing, and he is actually even honest a lot more .

EH was always self reflective and that is one of her greatest strengths

Chairman was the manager of the factory owned by the mother of the evil siblings.
He made the factory into a cheabol company
and then he found his biological daughter from before somehow... that was not explained... but then the stepkids killed her

I am not sure how the mom died like super fast after they got married...
