It's funny how it works. In reality, I'd like to know what makes it so different. So many people are pointing…
The difference is that FMLs serve as a wish fulfilment fantasy for most female viewers. That can go in a lot of ways but in cases like these, they only like her when she's passive and goes along with the flow (such as the Y/N ass FML in love me love my voice). The MLs in general are seen as multi dimensional characters with their own motivations and viewed with more empathy because they are attracted to them
I’m not a fan of this era and I’ve never seen a good drama from this era. Unfortunately this drama looks like…
This era was a really toxic time in the history. That reflects in the dramas as well. Especially if they are romantic in nature. I think serious Republican dramas are great. When it comes to idol romances, Arsenal military academy was good. Everything else I have watched was toxic and you have to go in with a certain mindset
it has SE as far as i remember it was like she left him again for 10+ yr... i believe and their reunion happens…
Tbh this ending would have made sense if they stuck to the original novel. They didn't deserve to be together after everything he did. But they have switched things up a lot so why not change the ending as well?
idk if anyone thinks about it or I'm the only one... look this drama clearly deserves more rating.. not only this…
I think romance heavy light hearted cdramas get the highest ratings (POJ or hidden love for example) while slow burns and serious cdramas suffer but this one has a fair rating imo. It's enjoyable but not THAT great. The acting is just okay at best. Kdramas on the other hand are on a downward spiral since years but they have a huge fanbase so they get high ratings. But their actors are better on an average unless they are idol actors
Apart from being a Republican era drama it's also a Fei Wo Si Cun adaptation? That mostly means a toxic ass cheating ML, pathetic FL and a tragic ending. The ML is also the son of the trash ML of"Too late to say I love you" so the bar is already in hell. Gonna let this one marinate and hope they don't remain true to the source. It's not 2016 anymore.
Finally started this one and I'm enjoying the cold FL so far. For once, Meng Ziyi's expressionless eyes work in her favour. I have only watched He Yu in modern noona romances but he's a total scene stealer here.
Btw will her ex husband find out her true identity?
Lu Lu is finally free! May the smear campaign stop and she sues the haters. Maybe we'll see her less now but with only quality scripts. I hope she also joins another variety show.
This drama suffers from a lack of romance(despite being a romance centred drama). This is something I have experienced with every JJY drama I have tried. Still I loved the first 10 something episodes. It just got tiring afterwards like a typical low budget Xianxia would. But I was expecting an epic love story and didn't get it. I wouldn't even mind the lack of romance if we had a strong FL. But her abilities weren't utilised well.
I heard a melon 🍈 that she'll be doing 2 projects. One with that actor,who I have no idea about..never heard…
Tbh the script for the drama with PGY isn't good and I wasn't excited at the prospect of him being casted but with what happened with TFJ, I'm okay with non traffic actors. Their fans won't be a problem.
CZY and BL are a dream pair but I have heard a lot about billing wars that happen whenever he's casted in a drama so they'll have to go equal billing at the very least. Well maybe the new strokes rule would ensure that this won't happen
As a massive heroine-stan , to be completely honest, I am so done with this. What on earth are the screenwriters…
Literally this! She's so likeable and mentally strong. But if they made her such an important entity, they should utilise her character's potential. NGL I'm sick of these romance dramas always depending on ML saving the FL to drive the romance. There are barely any FLs who can hold their own. It just feels icky
I agree with everyone here. This season is such a letdown. Very boring. Bai Lu barely has any screentime. I loved watching her interactions with everyone but we can't have nice things anymore. Even the live streams have an air of awkwardness. Maybe because of the hate train. FCC is funny at times but why does he always have the most screentime? Bai Lu seems not as cheerful and involved now. Even the other members like Zheng Kai and Sha Yi aren't that interested.
Why do y'all post about every ridiculous thing Bai Lu is targeted for on weibo? This is not twitter. Keep the negativity there it's getting ridiculous atp.
